Question:	I love the camera, but I cannot get it to capture still photos while recording a movie. Can somebody tell me how to do it
Answer:	Hello Harry, Please explain what you mean you cannot get still shots while recording. Do you want the camera to display still photos when you take them and you choose when to continue taking video. Or you cannot find your still photos after you take them, you only see the video. As I explained, possibly not clearly, when you are recording a video and you press the shutter button to take a photo, the camera do not interupt your video recording to display the picture. after completing your video you press the play/review button and then you will see the photos and the video when going in reverse order. if you review from begining you will see video first then your pictures.
Question:	I want to make sure I have everything I need to start shooting on day one. What accessories come in the box with the camera
Answer:	I would suggest at least ordering 55-mm UV filter (acts as lense protector so you should never have to wipe/clean the coatings on your expensive lense or worry about scratches). May want to consider a circular polarizing lens (linear polarizers supposedly don't work on sensor cameras). You will also want to have an SD, SDHC, or SDXC UHS-I (letter I vs an UHS-II interface) memory card that is at least Class 10 (C with a 10 in it), UHS-1 (number 1) or UHS-3 speed class which is U with a 1 or 3 in it. I suggest at least 16 GB, with 32 GB being better. I like videos, so I got 64 GB. A case to protect your camera would be nice. I also favor a better shoulder strap and a hand strap grip. One end of the hand strap should screw into the tripod mount and supply its own tripod mount hole to allow mounting to tripod without removing the strap.

Answer:	Hello,The new V-Lux (typ 114) is in essence a different camera than the V-Lux 4. It is much larger physically, at first glance, one presumes the larger lens must be an upgrade. My assumption is that Leica lowered the focal length in order to improve the image quality. The other major improvements are a larger sensor (much more resolution), built in WiFi, and 4K video. I just called our reps in regards to your inquiry, their response was that even though the name is similar, the two cameras are different enough from one another, that you cannot really make a fair comparison of the two cameras. Answer:	Hello Charles,I suppose you could do so at the wide setting at close distances with wide open aperture or at the telephoto setting at far distance with aperture wide open, in order to get a shallow depth of field. Otherwise this type of camera, a bridge camera, is not really designed around bokeh. Some prime fast lenses are designed intentionally to have a certain look in the bokeh, however generally speaking, zoom lenses are not designed for bokeh. Answer:	As there are a number of components that affect how the camera shoots, I'm not sure why this would happen. Go into you menu select Drive Mode and make sure you're on Single Shooting. Select one of the Scene Modes like Landscape and see if the camera shoots. The very best thing you can do is purchase the book "Photographer's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX10IV", by Alexander White for about $30 on Amazon. You will find this book is a necessary component to successfully use this camera. For example, on page 14, White recommends is simple detail how to initially set the camera up for basic photography, no frills. If you had the book, you could set your camera up to this formula and eliminate the possibility of a software issue.

Question:	Does this have auto focus?? Ive heard it only has manual focus
Answer:	Yes, it has auto focus as well as manual focus. There are three auto-focus settings: Pre Focus (camera focuses when it detects movement), Single AF (camera focuses only when the shutter button is pressed halfway) and Full-Time AF (camera tries to focus even when the shutter button is not pressed halfway).
Question:	is the lens threaded
Answer:	Yes, the lens is threaded--but not fully. There are three equally-spaced threaded portions on the inside of the 52mm lens end. Why in the world Nikon opted for this screwy (no pun intended) threading convention over a normal fully-threaded lens end is beyond me. On my B700, I have screwed a Sigma 52mm WR UV Filter into the lens end with a Goja 52-67MM Step-Up Adapter Ring screwed into the filter and then a Goja 67MM lens hood screwed into the 67mm end of the step-up ring. I've only had this setup on the camera for one day, but I worry that the B700's not-fully-threaded lens end will not handle this load. (NOTE: the Sigma 52mm UV filter is a skosh smaller in outside diameter than the B700's lens barrel, so it doesn't interfere at all with the lens fully contracting when the camera is powered off. Given that the step-up ring is threaded into the front face of the UV filter, it also doesn't interfere with the lens fully contracting, and nor does the tulip lens hood.)

Question:	Can the lens be switched out
Answer:	This is a fixed lens camera with a zoom-lens that covers everything from wide-angle to extreme telephoto. That's the purpose of this camera, one lens that does it all, and therefore not interchangeable.
Question:	Can you use filters (polarizer, ND) with this camera
Answer:	Filter thread 62mm. Use any filter with threads.
Question:	What kind of SD card do I need to record 4k video
Answer:	The PNY Elite cards work great. I've also had success with the Transcend U3. I've been using the PNY Elites for some time and have been very happy with them. They make up to 256gb, which is great if you're going to shoot a lot of 4K video.
Question:	What are the items included in the box
Answer:	There is only ONE battery in the box, along with the charger, hood, lens cap, strap, and all the other stuff needed.

It has an F2.8-4.0 brightness that resists blurring even with telephoto shots, and an angle of view that extends from 25mm wide-angle to 16x optical zoom*. Comprising 15 elements in 11 groups, including 4 ED lenses and 5 aspherical lenses with 8 aspherical surfaces, this advanced lens unit achieves high MTF value. Adoption of 5 aspherical glass lenses achieves beautiful, evenly smooth defocus with invisible edge line, which is made possible by Panasonic’s unique aspherical lens mold technology.

Light Speed AF with LUMIX DFD Focus Technology

A new linear motor integrated into the focus system achieves approx. 275% faster1 focusing, compared to the conventional DMC-FZ200. In addition new DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology2 shortens the time to set the focus. It instantaneously calculates the distance to the subject by evaluating 2 images with different sharpness levels. As a result, ultra high-speed AF of approx. 0.09 sec3 (wide-end) / approx. 0.171,4 sec (tele-end) is achieved.

5-AXIS Correction / Tilt Correction

The HYBRID O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) + with 5-axis correction* gives you blur-less, one-handed video shooting ability. It detects and compensates for the camera's 5 types of movement – horizontal, vertical, axis of rotation, vertical rotation and horizontal rotation. The Level Shot Function* detects the image's horizontal line and maintains it even if the camera is tilted. It takes stable video even in high-angle, blind recording.
