User questions & answers

Question: I have a dx nikkor 18-300mm lens. will it work in the z50 using which adapter
Answer: I have not used this lens but have used a 28-300 Tamron with the adapter.
Question: If I'm unhappy with the camera, can I return it
Answer: Yes if returned inside the window Amazon gives you in your orders panel.
Question: Can you manually adjust all 3 exposure values (iso, aperture, shutter speed) individually
Answer: Yes, works the same as the DSLR
Question: I am a consumer taking pictures both inside and on trips. used to a d5100 with nikkor 18-200mm. will i need to flip back and forth lenses
Answer: Nah, you can use an ftz adaptor. But I think you should get the two lens kit, like I did. With the 16-50 it is so small and agile, I just love it. My landscapes and architecture shots have made me shake my head and chuckle with delight a few times now. The 50-250 lens is small enough that it fits in the front zipper pocket of my old very small camera bag. I had the d70s with big ol lenses, and had to lug around a backpack/camera bag. Now I just grab my shoulderbag and go. I could bury the whole bag with both lenses, spare battery, spare card, cleaning tools, etc into a carry-on bag...with plenty o room to spare! The range of 16-250 on the crop sensor is outrageous, and the image quality is such that I haven't really wished I could adapt a regular lens. BIF are a challenge, though I have captured some osprey and eagles fighting that stunned me...they look photoshoppped against a vivid blue sky. Anyway, you don't need a big 18-200, unless it's super fast. The kit is so small. So capable. So sexy. I haven't sold my other lenses yet, and may still adapt a very wide angle fast lens for astro stuff, but all my other stuff is just collecting dust in the closet. Very happy I bought my z50. Cheap and more-than-good-enough for the creative consumer's needs, the point-and-shoot soccer dad, and even the pro photographer (my friend who is a pro videographer begged me to let him enlarge anf frame my eagle osprey combat shot...it's just that good.

User questions & answers

Question: Which is the biggest sd card supported by nikon coolpix w300? 256gb
Answer: Yes it has a standard screw that works with Nikon and Canon SLR cameras (all of them). It is standard for almost all SLR cameras to have the same size screw hole at the base of the camera. I did not like this brand. It was easy to dislodge the joints. I would recommend the one from Amazon that is a little less expensive and works much much better: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019XKRMM6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Question: What type of memory card must I buy with this camera
Answer: Thank you for contacting Manfrotto Distribution. After speaking with our technical support staff, they indicated that the Allen wrench is used for the set screw. Should you decide to use a head with your Monopod, it will allow you to securely mount the head.
Question: With the GPS locations, will it attach the gps location information to the pictures saved data
Answer: Hello, The max height of this item is 59.06". Thanks,
Question: My nikon w 300 is making a weird noise when i shake it , still makes the noise when i remove the battery ?what should i do

User questions & answers

Question: does this have a macro setting
Answer: Not that I am aware of
Question: does this camera have date stamp feature
Answer: Yes, it does have a date stamp feature.
Question: is battery rechargable
Answer: IT uses standars AA batteries. However, since small cameras like this usually "eat" batteries, I usually try to find a 4-pack of rechargeables that come with a small charger. This way I always have freshly charged batteries at the ready. Just a suggestion. The charger and batteries may cost yo around $10-$15, but replacing standard batteries over time will cost you that in a few months anyway..
Question: How do you download photos to print
Answer: On the bottom of the camera there is a small black rubber tab that says A/V out, it twists around to let you plug in the usb cord to attach to your computer/laptop/notebook or whatever. Hope that answers your question.

User questions & answers

Question: Will autofocus work on the D750 with my older Nikon 80-400mm lens
Answer: The first lens I have on my d750 was the older 80-400mm and it works fine. The D750 (and all FX dslrs) has both body motor and use the af-s lens motor
Question: How comfortable is this camera for a woman with small hands
Answer: I have small hands and I love it. I did have to get used to buttons being in different places from my other camera. Nikon d5100. The d750 is an awesome camera. It is lightweight too.
Question: Can you use DX lenses in DX mode with this camera? Thanks
Answer: Yes, DX lenses can be used on FX cameras, but that would be a total waste of money buying a camera like this, because your DX lenses cannot use all of the full frame sensor, which is the reason to buy Nikon cameras D610 and above to begin with. You would be much better off getting a D7100, a DX camera for over $1k less.
Question: Is the 24-120 kit lens a good choice for this camera, or is the 24-70 a much better choice for mostly landscapes? Is the 24-70 noticeably sharper
Answer: For me this is about aperture the F-24 to 70 is a 2.8 aperture lens the 24 to 120 is an F-4 if you plan on shooting in low light with out having to extend you ISO to noise range the 2.8 24 to 70 will work bast but if you have a budget and plan on using strobes or Speed lights than in may not matter. there many factor that you can come up with but it's also mainly what you perfer. Good Luck

Combining the precision optics of a Nikkor lens with the image quality and performance benefits of Nikon's innovative EXPEED digital image-processing concept, the Coolpix L22 is a quality compact digital camera that combines high performance with outstanding operating ease.

Intuitive and automated operation ensures carefree command over the high performance features of the Coolpix L22. Activated in Easy Auto Mode, Nikon's Scene Auto Selector makes capturing special moments as easy as turning on the camera and shooting without worrying about any settings. Electronic VR image stabilization, Motion Detection, Nikon's BSS (Best Shot Selector) function and ISO 1600 capability help ensure sharper results in lower light, or when capturing fast-moving subjects.

The Coolpix L22 is powered by AA size/R6 batteries, for the added advantage of being able to pick up a new set in virtually any corner of the world. The Coolpix L22 provides reassuring freedom from any worries about recharging or running out of power when a special shutter chance presents itself.

The large high-resolution 3-inch LCD monitor offers a bright image that is a pleasure to view, even outdoors. Controls are sized and placed to ensure intuitive operation. For example, dedicated buttons on the back of the body make it easy to switch between shooting and playback modes. And the contours of the large thumb rest and the body itself assure a solid grip. Design is just one aspect of the Coolpix L22 that combines beauty and functionality.

Intelligent automation contributes to carefree shooting

Easy Auto Mode simplifies photography by taking control of settings; just turn on the camera and shoot freely. Activated in Easy Auto Mode, Nikon's Scene Auto Selector eliminates the need to manually select a scene mode to match the shot, making it faster and easier to capture the moment in beautiful fashion. The Coolpix L22 and L21 use this intelligent function to analyze the subject and its surrounding settings and automatically select the most appropriate scene mode to achieve optimal results.

Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera highlights
Advanced image stabilizing features* help ensure sharper results Nikon's Electronic VR image stabilization and Motion Detection compensate for subject movement as well as camera shake. User questions & answers

Question: is it easy to send photos to social media (facebook, instagram, etc
Answer: Yes. I am not up on all the tech stuff but I have had no trouble sending photos to Facebook.
Question: Is "auto flash" feature unavailable in this model? some of the reviews state that the flash needs to be popped out manually even in the auto mode
Answer: Unfortunately yes, you must raise the flash before it will work even in auto-mode.
Question: Can you wear it around your neck
Answer: I carry it in my pocket. Yes, you could buy a larger strap for it but personally I have my DSLR around my neck. Why both? Not really necessary but sometimes it has the better distance shot than my Nikon 28- 200 lens.
Question: Does anyone have this model for quite sometime? I'd like to get some feedback on picture quality and reliability. Is this model preferred over S
Answer: I own both the sS9700 and the S9900.Because both models use the same lens and BSI CMOS image sensor, so you can pretty much expect to see zero differences between identical pictures taken by both cameras at the same time. The big differences between the S9700 and the newer S9900 is the manual flash release and articulated viewing screen on the S9900. The manual flash release was hated by people used to the automatic pop up flash like the S9700 has, but I found the automatic flash very annoying on the S9700 since it was always activating because the lens is not very forgiving in low light situations or if even a small amount of zoom magnification is used.I take a lot of pictures using existing light such as indoors where a flash would disturb others and leaving the flash retracted on the S9900 lets the camera know it must adjust the exposure to take a picture using just the available light. Using the s9700 under the same condition meant overriding the flash every time it popped up in order to take an existing light picture and that really got old fast. The articulated screen is nice to have but of limited use for me. It is nice to be able to turn the screen inward to use the camera body for protection, but if you do that you will need to flip the screen back outwards before you can use the camera which detracts from keeping it handy for that quick and impulsive picture. I normally carry the S9900 in a pocket case with the screen already facing out. The best carry case for the camera only is the padded case for the WD portable 2.5" hard drives. These can be easily found on Amazon or eBay for under $5.00One very useful addition on the S9900 that is also found on newer Nikon cameras is an additional control dial on the top of the camera nearthe shutter release. This control wheel normally has the same function as the scrolling wheel around the control button group on the camera back. This allows for quick dedicated control of the same functions as the scroll wheel on the camera back except that it is easier to access and rapid movement of it only affects the scrolling function without the chance of accidentally pushing in on the edge of the scrolling wheel on the camera back which would be treated as a button push by the other functions attached to the control on the camera back. Once you get used to using this feature properly it will be hard to go back to using the older controls. The S9900 can also be ordered in silver and black. The design of this case in the two colors makes it look like a classic camera from the past and it appears to be a bit more sturdy as well. These are all reasons why I am happy with the S9900 however I still use my S9700 because the cheaper looking and feeling case of the S9700 really doesn't look like anything and therefore it is easier to use for "street photography" where you might not want to advertise very strongly you are taking pictures in public. If you set the S9700 for the non automatic scene selection mode, you can over ride the automatic flash and not worry about it popping up until you change exposure modes. The flash override setting will stay set until you change exposure modes and stay set even if you power down and restart the camera. This means I still find my S9700 useful and it was not replaced by the S9900 when I started using it.

User questions & answers

Question: x zoom, how much is optical (digital is worthless) and what is the range (i.e., 25mm-500mm) optical
Answer: This according to Nikon: NIKKOR lens with 30x optical zoom; 4.0-120.0 mm (35mm 135 format equivalent: 22.5-675 mm); f/3.0-5.8
Question: Are you getting good pictures with the camera
Answer: I have gotten some great pictures from it. I notice that the close ups are sometimes blurry so I have to back off until the screen clears. I would say normally good pictures.
Question: Would you recommend this camera for taking pictures on an African safari? Do you think it would adequately capture mountain gorillas in low-light settings? We're deciding between this camera and the SX50, so any input would be greatly appreciated
Answer: I had the same choice. I went Nikon and am very happy. Although I have never taken photos of gorillas in low light I have taken photos of my children who can occasionally behave as such in low light. This camera is superb. After owning 10 years worth of nothing but Cannons I finally strayed from the reservation and bought this Nikon after three months worth of contemplation. I am very happy. The 3D effect for very still shot photos might be some of the sharpest non professional photos I have ever seen. I would buy this again, or take on an African safari knowing the zoom will be a huge asset. Best of luck on whatever you decide.
Question: Hello, why the red version of this camera have a shipping weight of 3 pounds and the same camera in black have a shipping weight of 4 pounds?, thanks
Answer: Shipping weights are estimated by sellers and include packing materials. If the seller that posts the weight just guesses or uses more packaging than the others then there could be discrepancies. To address your concern, the red and black versions weigh the same. If the seller you're buying from is charging shipping by weight, contact them and ask them to make an adjustment ot buy from a seller with a flat rate shipping fee.

User questions & answers

Question: How many pixels does this camera have
Answer: 10 mega pixels, Really a good compact camera
Question: What video modes
Answer: Panorama or zoom.
Question: Does the camera come with all of these: 2 AA-Alkaline batteries USB Cable UC-E6 Audio/Video Cable EG-CP14 Strap AN-CP19...as described by the retailer
Answer: If the retailer described all the stuff that comes with the camera it will be with the camera. When you buy the camera new it does come with all the stuff described. Plus it should come with a cd also. Their is newer versions of this camera with more megapixels. The reason why I have this camera is I use it under water with a Ikelight under water housing. And I don't want to have to purchase a new under water housing to fit the newer cameras. By the way with any camera that uses AA batteries which is the only camera I will use because the other cameras batteries that you have to charge suck. Do not use alkaline batteries they do not last long. I use Energizer lithium batteries that come in AA they last for a very long time.P. Bowen
Question: Does the camera come with a strap
Answer: Yes. It is a small strap.

Question: How well does this camera do with action shots? (i.e. I want a point and shoot that takes clear pictures of my kids who are in constant motion
Answer: I think it takes fine pictures for the price and level of expertise. I use it as a back up.
Question: Does this camera work well for just ebay auction pictures
Answer: It might, I am not sure about the quality of the picture that you need fot ebay auction pictures. Sorry I could not help you.
Question: Does this camera take regular batteries or an actual rechargable battery like the kind cellphones take
Answer: It takes a recharge battery that comes with it (very tiny-it goes in the same compartment as the memory card) and it can plug into the wall or one's computer with the enclosed cable.... JMG
Question: Does it have a self-timer
Answer: Yes. This is the basic function that almost all cameras should have.
Question: What is the mp rating on nikon coolpix l32 digital camera
Answer: The Nikon COOLPIX L32 is a 20MP compact point & shoot digital camera with hd video capabilities. A large 3-inch LCD and built-in effects make this camera fun and easy.
Question: is this camera water proof how s the pics
Answer: If you are concerned about getting the camera wet I'd recommend the hard cover case for protection or even the extended warranty for a nominal price that has added protection. I would recommend the added protection if giving to a young person not only for rain water but it if is accidently dropped. I dropped my L24 after 3 years and decided to get this new L32. The quality of the pictures/video images are crisp, clear, and so is the audio of the videos! The camera is easy to use for all ages. Comes with my highest recommendation.
Question: What kind of memory doe it take ? Mirco or full size SD
Answer: Hi, the Nikon Coolpix L32 uses full size SD cards, i use this one in the nikon and it works very well http://amzn.to/2egwin6 but you can use microSD too, cause the most of them cam with an SD adapter
Question: Can you set this camera so that pictures will automatically go to my computer? Thanks for answering
Answer: The download via a USB cable is quick and easy. You have to have a microchip card reader to store the images. In the owners quick guide manual it lists a Nikon NX2 website where you download the free software. The entire owners manual is online at Nikon. After you download the Nikon NX2 software you must plug in the camera with a USB connector which connects the camera to your computer and the NX2 software. If not done the computer won't show the images from the card reader. 1. Open the box. 2. Read the Quick Guide3. Download the entire owners manual online and READ.4. Pull sticker off of front of camera - Optional as can do later or earlier.5. Attach the strap.6. Put in batteries.7. Camera guides you through initial setup. This is pretty easy.8. Insert Memory Card reader chip/disc. I use 8GB.9. Start by taking a few pictures, deleting, adding, and adjusting the options to your needs. I include the date stamp on my photos.10. Go to online Nikon NX2 website and download the free software to use with the L32. a. Read the instructions and use the HELP button on top if needed. There also is a toll free number if needed. b. You can use the top tabs to set to you needs. I set NX2 to download just the new photos/videos. c. You can select the tabs on top or to the right. Use the back buttons. Just go in and experiment and remember if I can do it you sure can. 11. Now, the fun part. After taking your photos/videos connect the cable with your micro card reader. I use a Dynex from Best Buy. The first download will be in a folder called Nikon Transfer 001. On the next transfer it will be 002 and so on. What I do is move the photos/videos from 002 to 001 by dragging them into it and deleting 002. Or when downloading you choose the number of folder to download to. I find dragging and copying the ones I want easier.12. Be sure to register your camera and take good care of it. I am getting the hard case so I don't drop this one like I did with the L24.13. Be sure to have your memories backed up. I have been using Online Carbonite for years as my computers over the years have crashed and burned and Carbonite restored my files to my new computer. It is peace of mind. a. In addition I burned my photos/videos to a Sony DVD+R Disc and can share with family and friends. After doing this I delete the images on my Nikon camera that frees up more space on the chip card reader.14. Finally, I am from the old school of 35mm rolls of film and I got my first digital camera Coolpix L24 about 3 years ago. I had it for one year and discovered the video function. Goes to show I should have read the owners manual better. With the L32 the video button is on the console and easy to use. I love this camera a lot as it is improved greatly from the L24. It is faster, easier, better quality in images being sharp, crisp, and clear, and just a super camera for all ages. It fits in the palm of your hand. It feels like metal to me and I like the red color a lot. The Nikon team will HELP if needed. Also, Amazon packaged the box superbly!! It arrived in a larger box with large blown up bubble wrap and arrived right at my front door in pristine condition and ahead of schedule! Shippers at times have a tendency to handled packages roughly but when Amazon ships you have peace of mind the product will arrive in mint condition. If you have had a prior digital camera, never had one before, and/or would like to give as a gift to someone this is the one to get. I received my L24 as a gift and so glad because my 35mm camera by Kodak went the way of the dinosaur - extinct:)

User questions & answers

Question: how to charge battery
Answer: Unfortunately most of the batteries for this camera barely hold a charge. I purchased this camera for $129 last year thinking I had scored a deal. The battery lasts 2 days and is dead! Now I know why it was on sale for almost $100 less than retail. I sent the camera in 3 times for repair and Nikon keep returning saying battery is depleted. I then went online and read the horrible reviews about this camera. Nikon say they warranty accessories, but this does not include the battery. I was told to go back to Best Buy and buy another battery ($60) and see if that worked.Eventually the camera stopped working all together. I sent it back one last time before warranty expired and it came back with no explanation as to what was fixed but camera does seem to hold charge finally. My lesson learnt, there is a reason something is"On sale" and always read reviews before buying an electronic item.
Question: do the videos have sound
Answer: Yes...there is sound with all video recordings.
Question: does the charger work at 220 volt.....does HD 720 p play back on a PAL TV or monitor
Answer: Sorry, I dont know the answer to that.
Question: I don't find de charger for the camera, can you please tell me what is the type(s) of charger it takes
Answer: Your camera came with a USB cord that plugs into the bottom of your camera and the USB end plugs into your computer to charge.....

Question: Is the video in this camera a set time limit? i have the nikon coolpix l830 with 34x and love it. any more reasons to get this one
Answer: For the most part, yes. 10-15 years ago, the buzz word was "megapixel." Manufacturers would increase that because that is what the ignorant masses thought made a camera good. And it was much cheaper to increase the megapixel while throwing in inferior sensors and lenses. But the masses would still go for those over cameras that had fewer megapixels but were VASTLY superior due to their better lenses and sensors. The mid-10s have zoom. Now they fool the ignorant masses into thinking that 50-100 zoom lenses with terrible sensors is better than 25-40x zoom with better sensors. They aren't.

User questions & answers

Question: Is the nikon 1 j1 a dslr or a mirrorless camera
Answer: It's both! It's Nikon's first compact dslr mirrorless camera.
Question: How is the sound quality when shooting a video
Answer: I just bought a used nikon j1 to use with a FT 1 adapter and even though I dont do to much video I think the audio is pretty good. The video part is really good with full 1080 p. The audio part is like any decent but not great dedicatated video camera. I hear my kids and other family members very clearly on my television while i'm recording them but I do hear lots of background noise or like a constant hisssss sound. I find this normal for a camera like this because you can't put a dedicated microphone on it. It might be a little annoying for some. The good thing about the sound in these mirrorless cameras are the silent zooming in and out, not like my dslr. So i would say the only negative is in the background noise that it picks up. But overall it's good for non professional use.
Question: Camera language are in Spanish
Answer: Yes, I used English and Spanish. The camara has a lot of language to change.
Question: Can you charge the camera to computer
Answer: Unfortunately it cannot be charged via usb. There is a lithium battery that charges on a wall charger which is included. It's similar to a typical SLR camera with the convenience of a point and shoot. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask! :)
