User questions & answers

Question: is this a body only or complete with lens
Answer: if you are measuring AC current with CFL bulbs, you'll need a TRMS clamp meter like this. Non-TRMS meters do not properly measure non-sinusoidal waveforms. Here's a great description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFhG7l1YmBI&t=17s
Question: Does this come with battery/charger
Answer: Yes, ours came with a soft-sided (but sturdy) black zippered case. All the pieces that came with it fit inside.
Question: How good is this camera for extreme fast sports like motor racing and low light scenes
Answer: There is continuity beep in mine multimeter!
Question: Is this camera compatible with the Pentax K-x lens
Answer: hello, I think that, almost sure the meter is bad.
Question: Does it work for nikon d
Answer: Yes, its an AC/DC clamp meter (voltage & current). I suggest downloading the manual for its capabilities.

User questions & answers

Question: My digital camera has a delay between pushing the shutter button and the photo actually being snapped. What is the response time of this camera
Answer: Yes
Question: does it come with lens cover
Answer: If you are vloging no because the screen doesn’t flip back for you to see yourself and if you want good sound no because no audio port but it’s good otherwise
Question: Is this camera good in low light situations
Answer: It's fine for nature, sunsets and landscapes. It's not good for sports, because it only shoots 3 frames per second doesn't have the best lens for sports. It would do OK for sports outside in full sun, but you might want to get the kit that has the 70-300mm lens. It will do badly at indoor sports events.
Question: Can you take close up macro shots with this camera
Answer: yes it comes with both

Product description

Whether raising your game to SLR level photography or having fun with a feature-rich, versatile SLR you can use pretty much anywhere, the EOS 80D camera is your answer. It features an impressive 45-point all cross-type AF system that provides high-speed, highly precise AF in virtually any kind of light. In dim lighting, it has improved low luminance performance to EV -3 and is compatible with most EF lenses (lenses with maximum apertures of f/8 or higher, and some lenses with extenders attached may operate at a maximum of 27 points). It also features 4 types of AF area selection modes useful for a number of different AF situations. To help ensure photographers don't miss their shot, an Intelligent Viewfinder with approximately 100% coverage provides a clear view and comprehensive image data. Approximately 100% coverage means there’s virtually no guesswork when it comes to composition, and with all settings available at a glance, the Intelligent Viewfinder helps photographers keep their eye on their subject, so the image can be captured at the right instant. The powerful 24.2 Megapixel (APS-C) CMOS sensor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF for Live View shooting enhance the EOS 80D's performance across the board. Complementing the EOS 80D's advanced operation are built-in wireless connectivity and Full HD 60p movies that can be saved as MP4s for easy sharing.

User questions & answers

Question: Aún está disponible
Answer: Si. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R279MNEJUWCW1E?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: Does the camera strap that goes around your neck come with it
Answer: It does, as well as the battery, the charger, the camera (of course), a lens if you choose that package, and most important the warranty card. If you would be interested in some more info about the 80D, I have a review for it on my profile. I go over the pros and cons, offer advice for how to use it, and even offer some other suggestions for less expensive cameras that might work jsut as well for you. Here is a link. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R279MNEJUWCW1E?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: Does it come with Canon warranty
Answer: Yes it has a 1 year warranty. However, you need to be sure that you get one from an authorized dealer in the region you live. Example, if you are in the US, you need to get one from a US dealer, if in the UK, from a UK dealer, and so on. Canon warranties are regional. Amazon is an authorized dealer, but not everyone selling on Amazon. For the most, if the listing doesn't state "international version, no warranty" then you are probably good. It wouldn't hurt to ask the seller directly though. Even so, Canon usually still honors the warranty on cameras anyway. If you would like more info about the 80D, then you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and also has suggestions for less expensive cameras that might also work for you. There are also sample images taken with the camera. Here is a link to the review. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R279MNEJUWCW1E?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: Does it record and play 4K video
Answer: It does not, it can do 1080 at 60p with a 90 mbps bit rate. If you need 4K, then Canon just is not where it is at right now. I would say look at either Panasonic or Sony for 4K. The 80D is a really good camera for stills and if 1080 is enough for your needs then it is good for that too. I think most people that want 4K don't realize it isn't just a higher resolution version of 1080, it's a whole new ball game. Much larger file size, much harder to process for your computer, it is a pretty large commitment to resources. For things like vlogging it is overkill. If you are into serious video creation, it offers a lot of post processing options, including the ability to crop in with minimal loss in quality, so that you can make it seem like you have a different camera angle. Canon has the M50, but it's 4K mode is all but unusable. No DPAF, 24p, and a 2.56 crop. Ouch. Probably the only Canon that has good 4K is the 1DxmkII and that is a 6000 dollar camera, and it has a crop of 1.7 with a codec that jsut isn't very useful. Compare all that to the A7III by Sony, and for 2000 USD it kind of makes everything else look like a joke for 4K video. Add the Sigma MC-11 adaptor and now you can even use Canon lenses on it, at least until you get some Sony lenses (which are expensive).

User questions & answers

Question: what would be the best lens to buy specifically for actor self tapes
Answer: The 35 mm is the better
Question: Own 20d & 70d. want to upgrade 20d - t6i or 80d? 80d worth extra $$ for features and compatibility with 70d accessories
Answer: Are you saying you need to have two cameras? I would think you could just sell off the 20D and the 70D and just get an 80D. It's an improved version of the 70D, where the largest difference other than the improved sensor and processor would be the 45pt AF system, which is pretty great. I don't think I would suggest the T6i unless you get a really good deal on it, in which case it's still a good camera, but the 70D is a better one. All these cameras use the same lenses, so any you have will work. I would bet most, if not all, your camera accessories will work, but I can't say without seeing all you have. In general if it worked on either the 20D or 70D it will also work on the 80D or T6i. If you would like some more information on the 80D, you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the camera, and also has comparisons to other cameras that have lower price tags that might be just as good for you. I also have sample images. Here is a link to the review. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R279MNEJUWCW1E?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: Does it record and play 4K video
Answer: It does not. Only 1080. Still great for video though, given the dual pixel AF. If you must have 4K, then you should look into the 90D or M6mkII. Both have the same specs for video, both shoot 4K with no crop. I have reviews for both the 80D and 90D on my profile, if you would like some more information. Here are some links. 80D - https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R279MNEJUWCW1E?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp 90D - https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1K36NNGFV9ZCU?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: Is it touch screen like the 70d
Answer: Yes. Great screen.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this kit lens the new pancake zoom kit lens? or the old kit lens? thanks
Answer: Do you offer this kit with the newer pancake lens?
Question: Would you help me decide between the Olympus EM10 and the Sony a6000 for an intermediate photogrqpher starting with travel journalism
Answer: One Touch access to functions while using EVF I do all pre-exposure and post exposure viewing through the electronic viewfinder(EVF) on the bright sunny days when the back display is not viewable, like the Grand Canyon. I can try a few exposure techniques in the bright sunlight with direct access to the functions I need, without fishing or two step process. I start with auto mode. I can look thru the EVF and still touch the LCD panel and drag the focus box. Sony A6000 has no touch panel. Take a pic. Then I go to aperture priority , tweek the exposure compensation on the front wheel (default setting). Still no menu fishing. Magnify is reasigned to BTN1 magnify in the multi function instead of the stand alone magnify. Manual focus is reassigned to BTN 2 to further verify focus along with Magnify. Hit the shutter. Then I go to HDR reassigned to REC. The exposure comp on the front wheel will work along with HDR. HDR can be accessed in PASM modes. SO, with my buttons reassigned with new functions, I can try a few exposure techniques in the bright sunlight with direct access to the functions I need, without menu fishing or two step process. Question: Does the kit comes with memory? If so, what is the size of the memory card
Answer: Our camera does not come with a memory card as a standard accessory. Olympus only includes the following inside this camera box:*BLS-5 Li-ion Battery*Battery Charger*USB Cable*Shoulder Strap*Front & Rear Lens Caps*Body Cap*Software CD*Instruction Manual
Question: advertised as the entry level omd camera but since it has features of both the em5 and the em1 it should be middle level or am i missing something? I'm looking for one I won't grow out of too quickly and am trying to choose between the em5 and this one which ever is truly the better (other than the em
Answer: The E-M5 is the higher end camera, but it has been around for a couple years so the E-M10 does have some advantages... better image processor, Wi-Fi, slightly smaller, built-in flash, more focus points, etc. The E-M5 is weather sealed, which is a necessity for some. It also has 5-axis stabilization, compared to the E-M10's 3-axis.Unless you need weather-sealing, the E-M10 does have some nice features.

User questions & answers

Question: Is the zoom good enough to take bird photos at a distance
Answer: Fixed lens and fixed focal length camera. There is no optical zoom, just digital zoom which is minimal and degrades image quality. Not good for bird photos from a distance.
Question: Optical image stabilization or steady shot during video
Answer: Yes. Take a look at this link: http://www.cnet.com/products/sony-cyber-shot-rx1r/specs/
Question: Does the RX1 use normal 49mm filters, such as those from B+W? Or do you have to use Sony filters or get an adapter
Answer: I have a B&W circular polarizer on my RX-1, and also occasionally use a 49mm adapter on it to employ a Lee filter holder/filter system.
Question: How should I decide between RX1 and RX1R? I will use the it for hikes and runs, travel, family & friends, and occasional artistic projects
Answer: JohnGreat question. Both are excellent cameras but the RX1R has the Low pass filter removed which means the pictures will be sharper. The downside is aliasing which you can read on. I had the RX1 and ended up with the RX1R 6 months later when it came out. Unless you print large pictures or have a really good screen like the Apple 30" cinema you may not see the difference. I must say I refer the RX1R but both take amazing shots and the size is perfect. If you go hiking or go out for extended periods carry at least two spare batteries and no less than a 16g or 32g SD Card. The files are large and the power consumption of the camera is high. Have fun. If you sift thorugh my flickr site you will see many RX1 and RX1R pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/blair_kent/
