| Answer: | There is only one slot. This will not be an issue the high majority of the time, but I felt that Canon has no reason not to add a second slot in cameras in this class. Sony and Fuji do, but Canon and Nikon both for some reason do not. Again, not likely to ever matter, but makes the camera less appealing as an event camera. I felt strongly enough about it to remove a star from the camera in my review (top review on Amazon). If you would like to have more info about the 90D, you should check out the review I have on my profile. | Answer: | I just bought the RP, love it. Yes, you can use Canon EF-S lenses with one of the 3 optional EF adapters. But note that EF-S lenses are made for smaller APS-C sized sensors (the RP is a full-frame 24x36mm sensor) so it will give you only 10.1 mp images with EF-S lenses. Why: it just crops out the unused area around your EF-S APS-C-sized images. For some native Canon lenses, it will choose this smaller 10.1mp crop size automatically. For non-Canon lenses, you can choose "1.6x crop." I tested this with two of my old Sigma APS-C lenses (ancient c. 2009 10-20mm and 18-200mm zooms) and autofocus and image stabilization do work great with the RP. if you want 24mp images with your old lenses, keep your 6ti (a great lightweight backup camera). | Answer: | Yes. All video is cropped to some extent because it is in a different aspect ratio. In addition, the 4K doesn't use the full width of the sensor. This is really more of a camera for stills shooters. The video is more of an extra feature. |

| Answer: | I just got the RP and Dennis explains the EF-S limitations perfectly. Two notes to add: 1) The result of this cropping is that your image size with EF-S (APS-C) lenses will be only ~10.1 megapixels (less than a modern smartphone camera or the old 2003 Canon 10D!). 2) With my old 2009 Sigma "DC" mount lenses (Sigma's designation for EF-S/APS-C compatible lenses), the RP will not automatically choose "1.6x crop," so I have to do it manually (it's an option in the "image format/aspect-ratio" menu). Otherwise, I do get the black vignetting around the image. |

| Answer: | Do like I did and read Ken Rockwell's review. It will not autofocus with traditional 1980s screw-type AF and AF-D lenses. It will meter and exposure perfectly with all AF lenses of any age. It won't meter or auto-expose with old manual focus lenses unless they are the special AI-P versions. Use with today's lenses (AF-S and/or G) Like the D5500, D5300, D5200, D5100, D5000, D3300, D3200, D3100, D3000, D60, D40 and D40x, everything works flawlessly with all modern AF-I and AF-S lenses. Nikon is not expecting people who buy the D5600 to use it with ancient lenses, and therefore saves everyone the expense and weight of including the parts needed in more expensive cameras to ensure compatibility with the old lenses listed below. Modern AF-S and DX lenses are the best lenses for the D5600. Older lenses aren't as good optically or ergonomically, don't waste your time with them on today's cameras. |
