Question: How well will this lens work for sports photography
Answer: This fan is perfect for either room.
Question: Full my full frame the focus goes from close to far smooth, however my crop (60d) does not move at all on auto focus. any one else has this problem
Answer: I bought the same fan in July of 2018, and have used it sporadically. Yesterday, I had it on for 30min and then all of a sudden it stopped working. No noise, no warning signs. Kaput. It says the warranty is over, and I'd be happy to buy a fuse if it needs replacing, but I am surprised at how little this lasted!
Question: How well will the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Lens perform with the Canon T3i
Answer: Fan height is approximately 18" inches... It does tilt & than could add another 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch.... Great fan, very good price, does the job....
Question: Does Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Lens come with hood
Answer: Made in China

User questions & answers

Question: How it’s shutter sound can be disabled
Answer: YES, the Camera Sounds can be modified under the Menu Section.
Question: Is it easy to change the iso level in the p mode ? usually i shoot in automatic, but also like to change iso , real basic stuff
Answer: Yes it’s very easy.
Question: Can this camera shoot in raw format
Answer: No, and the JPEG photo quality is that of iPhone 5s. Consider Panasonic LX20. Far better for $300 more. Even challenges Sony RX100 V, which is fragile lens design. LX20 and this Canon are better built.
Question: Would this be a good camera to use for concerts in low light
Answer: I bought the Canon G7X in 2015 because I wanted a point and shoot that was good in low light situations. The ISO goes up to 12800. The G7X is wonderful! I've used it in concerts and also numerous times for shows in the main theatre on cruises. My friends told me I couldn't take photos as flash was not allowed-no problem with my camera. Photos turned out great! There are newer versions now to the G7X. I've been happy with mine-worth the money.

User questions & answers

Question: Can i connect this camera to my computer with a usb
Answer: I have just purchased two of these (Elph 180). The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses.
Question: Does this have an automatic shutoff If I forget to turn it off
Answer: I don`t think so. But you`ll know if it`s on. When it`s on, the lens moves way out. When it`s off, it retracts, so the camera is flat. It would be very hard to forget to turn the camera off, or forget you left it on.
Question: Do you have to remove the battery from the camera in order to charge it
Answer: Does this camera come with a charger? It says it comes with a rechargeable battery but it isn’t saying anything about a charger. And from looking at other people’s comments I’m thinking it doesn’t come with a charger. So if not then what are you suppose to do cause it’s not regular batteries it’s the rectangle flat battery
Question: I notice the usb cable has to be purchased separately. does this camera require any special type of usb cable
Answer: The camera uses sd memory, so you dont need usb cable if your computer has a sd slot

Answer: Greetings,Yes, we are a Canon Authorized Dealer and Therefore any item you buy from us will automatically come with USA and Canada 1 year limited warranty. Question: Will this lens be good for soccer and football when on the sidelines
Answer: This is a subjective question. For the most part, it's not a sports lens. The AF system is not really built to be snappy fast for sports. However, if you are photographing young children, I think it can work, since they are not likely to be as fast as high school aged kids. Also, the limits of the aperture make it hard to use fast shutter speeds without a high ISO, so you will get some noise in the images. If this doesn't bother you then it's not a big deal. If in good light (daylight), then it will be fine so long as you know how to track your subject. For football at night, it's going to be tough. I would look for the bright spots on the field, like where the lights shine the brightest, and try to get photos in those places. Here is how I would set the camera. 1. Tv mode. This lets you control the shutter. Set to 1/500 sec. 2. ISO and aperture are controlled by camera. Make sure ISO is in auto. 3. Set focus to "servo" mode. This makes it so the camera tracks as you hold in the focus. 4. Select a small focus. Depending on your camera, you might have to use just one point. Some will let you choose a small grid. 5. Get focus on your subject and hold the focus to track them as they move around. This will give the STM motor time to find the focus. Shoot when you have the best shot. This is how I shot youth soccer with a SL2/200D and the 55-250mm IS STM. Got plenty of good shots. I'd post them in my review but it is now against Amazon policy to do so. Not sure what happened there, they are just youth league kids playing soccer. If you would like more info about the 55-250mm STM lens, you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the lens, and also has suggestions for other lenses that might work for you as well. There are also sample images taken with the lens. Here is a link to the review. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RBPNM432KPBLO?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp
Question: Would this newer STM lens work well with my EOS T2i I am using the older EF-S 55-250 now that's about 5 years old and looking for faster focus and sharper images....wondering if maybe the 55-250 IS 2 would work just as well as the STM for me...Thanks
Answer: Great question. Some answers for you... It is a better lens than the older IS II model in the following ways: Better optics for better IQ and contrast. Rear focusing so the front element doesn't rotate. Better IS. STM is better than the DC micro motor; it's faster, more accurate, and nearly silent. The focus isn't as fast as say, USM lenses, but you will notice an improvement. If speed of focus is more important in your case, then you should look into the EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS II USM instead. Optically, they have very similar IQ, but the 70-300mm has much snappier focus for stills, and is still silent for video like the STM lens. As to how much a difference you will see on your camera? The T2i is a pretty old camera, and IQ wise think you won't see much of a difference. Either of the suggested lenses will look good on your camera, but you might not see a large difference in overall IQ due to the age of the sensor. I think the advantages are that you will see better contrast, have better focus (which leads to more in focus shots), and if you ever move to a newer camera then you will see a difference in IQ with a newer sensor. If you would like more info about either of the lenses I have suggested, you should check out the reviews I have on my profile. Both reviews cover the pros and cons, offer advice for how to use the lens, and has suggestions/comparisons to other lenses you might have considered. There are also sample images. Here are some links. For the 55-250mm - https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RBPNM432KPBLO?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp For the 7i0-300mm - https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RUZO5QNFASTCS?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp For my profile just click my name!
Question: Hi
Answer: The short answer is yes to both questions. The little bit longer answer... 1. It has image stabilization, and for Canon you can tell what lenses do as they will list "IS" in the description of the lens. On this lens, you have 3.5 stops of IS, which is really great since it has such a long reach. Keep in mind though that IS does nothing to help with a moving subject, only a fast shutter speed can help with that. 2. Your camera can use this lens, as well as all other EF and EF-S lenses. This is one of the 4 lenses I suggest to anyone that is learning photography and wants to expand their kit beyond the lens that came with their camera. If you would like more information about the 55-250mm lens, you should check out the review I have on my profile. It covers the pros and cons, offers advice for how to use the lens, and has suggestions/comparisons to other lenses you may have seen. There are also sample images taken with the lens. User questions & answers

Question: Can you use it to do a pan picture
Answer: Panoramic shooting is not mentioned in the manual, and there does not appear to be a selection in the camera's functions to achieve it. You can probably still get that result with third-party external software on a PC by taking the sequence of shots to stitch together, but Canon does not provide it.
Question: Can someone verify that Wi-fi feature/ app supports this camera? I want this feature specifically and 2 comments say it doesn't
Answer: Just received mine yesterday 1/24/18. I downloaded the Canon app off of Google app store on to my smart phone. WiFi worked just fine... was able to operate my camera remotely thru my phone with the app. Downloaded pictures to phone and then to pc. Pc found wireless network for phone. Fyi. Amazon says screen is 5". Unless my visual capabilities are way off. No way it's 5" ... maybe 3

    User questions & answers

Question: Is this camera have touch screen
Answer: 2 lenses. It's a great starter kit.
Question: Does this camera have a built in flash
Answer: It does a decent zoom, but if you want true zoom in or out, I suggest another lens. I only use mine for family photos, etc, and outings, but I may invest in another lens for close and father shots. I have a hummingbird nest on my patio, and I find the basic lens doesn't quite do the job of catching the tiny egg and details, and for distance it only goes so far.
Question: Does this bundle come with an around the neck strap
Answer: Hello Yes you can shoot raw with this camera. Thanks Brendan The Photo Center
Question: Does this camera record for YouTube
Answer: Some people consider the D3400 a better camera than the D3500 due to the elimination of the "Function" button on the front of the camera that was accessible with the photographer's left hand that allows the ISO setting to be changer with the right thumb wheel while looking through the viewfinder. Also the IR remote shutter control was eliminated. I believe from what I read that all this was done to reduce the size (the body is the same as the D5600) and weight of the camera, improve battery life, and reduce manufacturing cost. Nikon does have a free app for your smart phone, SnapBridge App, that allows your smart phone to act as a remote shutter control and can automatically send your pictures (reduced resolution) to your smart phone. So to answer your question - I don't believe the the D3500 is an upgrade or a downgrade to the D3400 just the next in their line of "Beginner" DSLR Cameras.
