The charger has a folding plug that can be rotated out to plug into the wall. it's a twice as thick as the charger from my old camera, so I use the old charger when I travel and keep the new charger for around the house. My old camera was an SD750 which uses the same battery, so I have a spare power cell. Also useful for travel.
