Based on my purchase experience I would have to assume that the nickels will be dated closer to 1938 than 1913.

Question:	how many do you need for one bath? I am use to the larger ones, so the smaller size is throwing me off
Answer:	I have had mine for a year along with the smaller facial size. It may have 2 speeds to choose from but as is stated in the question, the more pressure down on the skin the slower it gets and will stop completely just when I feel like it is scrubbing the way I want it to. The problem is that the torque is not strong enough. 3 AA batteries may last for awhile but I don't think it is configured to increase the the amps to 4.5a. If it had a 9v battery to increase the torque, I know it would be much better. I frequently try to put a wash cloth over the smaller brush to get the texture and absorption I am looking for---if the flat scrub had a larger diameter, it would work for me. Considering the low price, it is probably worth it if you don't mind the slow down spinning.
