Answer: I am not sure how to respond as I don't know what settings your camera is on but here are some tips. Make sure that your flash settings in your camera menu is enabled. Make sure the batteries you are using are fresh and are made for high power equipment like Energizer Max or something like that. Most of these Neewer are made to fire at shutter speeds of up to 200. Check your shutter speed settings. Hope some of this helps, if not check out youtube for videos.

    Question: Can the tamron 70-300mm ld di f/4-5.6 be substiuted withy a higher quality canon lens that has a stabilizer
    Answer: The razor out of the box is not intended to be used to shave as is. You need to finish the edge on a whetstone (the included one with the kit is useless) and strop it. I have no idea why one user complained about it being plastic/flimsy. The razor is wood and steel and seems to be well made, sharpening is required though.
    Question: So the 55mm lens is not compatible with the 58mm filters you are offering in the package
    Answer: I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! We are adamant about reading reviews before purchasing and this one seemed up to par with our standards. He liked how it had a vintage appeal to it and the handle on the straight razor is wood not plastic. He's used it several times now and it provided a really close and clean shave. He states that he really likes the overall quality of this set and he likes how it includes all parts and pieces for starting (and the holder is a bonus). He strongly recommends this straight razor kit.
