Answer:	NO. The way that people are describing this simply means that the front Objective lens is large, which allows more light into the optical viewer. There are some common sizes of front objective lenses for binoculars and monoculars listed below and they are compared to this 60mm viewer. The explanation should help everyone figure out why the larger objective, the more light, thus; the brighter the image, and the better one can see in low light, mostly at dusk or bright moonlight. 7x35 binoculars have been considered as good night vision on bright moonlight nights, and are better than 10 x 50 binoculars. In other words, 7x35 allows a brighter image, but the target is not as large from magnification. With 7x35, one can see into the shadows better than 10X50. One can see from the math that 7x35 (7 magnification by 35mm front objective lens) light entry to the viewing device is very inferior to 60mm. There is a caveat to it all: If the 60mm or any viewer without night vision is adjusted to higher than what viewing device it is compared to, the light value drops significantly. In other words: The 60mm if adjusted to 7 power, like 7x35 binoculars is far superior with bright vision than the 7x35 because of the large objective. Adjusting to higher power will darken the view. Front Objective Square Millimeter Comparison 60mm = 2,827.44 sq. mm. 50 mm = 1,963.5 sq. mm ÷ 2,827.44 = 31% less light than 60mm optical viewer; or, 60mm has 31% more light than 50mm optical viewer, and brighter image. 40mm = 1,256.64 sq.mm ÷ 2,827.44 sq mm. = 36% less light than 60mm optical viewer; or, 60mm has 36% more light than 40mm optical viewer, and brighter image. 35mm = 962.115 sq/ mm ÷ 2,827.44 sq. mm = 66% less light than 60mm optical viewer; or, 60mm has 66% more light than 35mm optical viewer, and brighter image.

Answer:	I think so. If you want to get a close up of wildlife,i will recommend you these binoculars. The disadvantage is that they are a little heavier and bigger than other binoculars. Bur if you want to look at the various options for magnification ,you’d better choose magnification like these 10x. They will help you view more filed and view,hope you enjoy your binoculars.
Question:	Did you use these binoculars with the prescription eyeglasses
Answer:	Well, i will answer your question. At first, these binoculars have a short eye relief distance that means you can roll down the eye cup to adjust the distance. If your vision is not too bad, i can make sure you will view things clearly if you use them without your glasses, just focus the left eye with the center focus wheel and use the dioptre setting on the right lense to focus the right eye. Of course, if your vision is too bad, it doesn’t matter if you wear glasses. In fact, you can see more field if you wear glass. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It works well for me, as I like to eye the Eagle's that nest in the trees nearby. And I enjoy watching various animals, in neighboring fields.the imaging is crystal clear with this monocular. Question:	Any place to add a neck strap
Answer:	The fourth photo thumbprint next to main one coming up to the left of that today shows clearly someone wearing or using a neck strap. Maybe there is a way to loop a neck strap through the so called small strap it comes with the other person mentioned. Anyway some how the photo on the Gray model not the black one clearly shows a neck strap applied to it. Maybe the black one does not have one. It is so hard to tell if a question goes to the item selected on a page to those who bought it or to the other model when mulitple items can be selected and reviewed and Q/A's go out to. Really Amazon so needs to improve this system. Or limited only one item sold per page period. I do wish they would turn back the clock to a more user friendly time when you searched on a specific item and brand it actually came up with that before it filled page after page of something entirely different or different brands and when you think not offered or sold on Amazon low and behold clicking on a few of the products shown and there below one is the item you asked for in the first place? I know they do not make it easy on shoppers. THey think they are but clearly not. Answer:	We have enjoyed using this. It is very simple and a good value. The image on the screen is clear. Not sure if it will work for something as small as a bird but it was good for a sailboat 100 yards away. Hope that helps?

Answer:	There was no tripod neither in advertisement, nor in package of my order. BTW, monocular itself is an almost perfect device. Best of 7 different models purchased during last four years.
Question:	can you take a picture with your iPhone
Answer:	Yes, you can with the attachment they include. It is a little clumsy to do so, and the picture will be round (due to the round lens of the monocular). It will also be grainy, depending on how far your subject is/how much magnification.

Question:	Can you focus it with one hand
Answer:	I have a iPhone 11 the big one. The attachment which holds the phone extends to any size phone from what I can tell.

Answer:	A universal adapter should work because the eyepiece is pretty standard but since I don't have one I can't guarantee that 100%

Answer:	Entire eyepiece is 1.75 inches (outside to outside). Lens aperture is 5/8 inch. Did not have caliper available -visual estimate using ruler.

Answer:	sure it’ll be fine, I just took it out and seen the moon, and it’s so clear,,I’m from LA.CA, we really can’t see the stars at this time,, so I could go outside and be sure, but the moon, you could see it clear,,

Question:	Will this focus sharply at infinity? Can you focus sharply on the moon
Answer:	The monocular itself is wonderful. It's simple to use and has great magnification. The brace that holds the phone is not great. Since the lenses on the iPhone are not centered, it makes it difficult to manipulate everything. I have an iPhone X, so I don't know about the multiple optic ports.
Question:	Will this work if the phone is in a case
Answer:	There is nothing electronic about this monocular. The adapter is a phone holder.
Question:	This has 12x magnification power. If my smartphone camera has 8x zoom power, does it mean I will get 96 x zoom power (96 = 12 x
Answer:	The farthest star we can see with our naked eye is V762 Cas in Cassiopeia at 16,308 light-years away. Its brightness is magnitude 5.8 or just above the 6th magnitude limit. Thus the monocular can see slightly farther than that.
Question:	Does it work with iPhone 7plus
Answer:	Really, it's neither...probably about 8X. That works pretty well with this unit because 10X and above is very difficult to hold still by hand. A tripod could work with this unit but use your phone/camera timer. The magnification is NOT adjustable...there is no 'zoom' feature.
