Answer:	MANUFACTURER RESPONSE: No OTG cable is necessary for the Nexus 5x. This is only needed for Micro USB devices. Question:	I want to see trichomes turn from clear to amber and be able to take still pictures of it happening , could this product help do that
Answer:	That's probably on the edge of what this thing can do. I used it to enlarge parts of insects, which it did very well, especially when I projected it onto my Smartboard. However, you are talking about something an order of magnitude smaller than that. Likely you could see it, but it would not some close to filling the screen.
Question:	Is this good for looking at teh cannabis trichomes
Answer:	You must mean THE trichomes As the amount of trichomes covering your plant increases, you should take a closer look at them, maintaining a light touch to avoid crushing the resin glands. Your best bet is to purchase an inexpensive 25x microscope and most (Use search for this .. pocket microscopes) pocket microscopes have a small light to help you get an illuminated peek at your trichome development. So, when you cut small buds from your plant to test them, you want to concentrate on the stalked glandular trichomes. The coloration of the gland heads can vary with different strains and maturity, but most start with clear or slightly amber heads that gradually become cloudy or opaque when THC levels have peaked and are beginning to degrade. Regardless of the initial color of the trichomes, with careful observation you should be able to see a change in coloration as maturity levels off. Some cultivators wait for about half of the trichomes to go opaque before harvesting to ensure maximum THC levels in the finished product. However, you will also want to try samples at various stages to see what is best for you. While you may be increasing the total THC level in the cannabis by allowing half of the glands to go opaque, there will also be a larger percentage of CBN, which is why some people choose to harvest earlier while most of the trichomes are still clear.So the short answer to your question is?? Answer:	It's all digital and it depends on your monitor size. To determine the magnification, take a photo of the base board while push the microscope down against it. Measure the distance between 2 grid lines on the screen. The ratio between that measurement (on the screen) and distance between 2 grid lines on the base board is the magnification. To get the best magnification out of it, set the Digital Viewer resolution to 1600 X 1200 and then read the photo from file folder after the photo is taken and measure the distance between 2 lines. I get 60X magnification on my 23" monitor. If you have 100" monitor, you may get 250X magnification.

With a suction cup mount and a graduated observation stage, you can attach the microscope to any smooth surface and use the various graduation marks to measure specimens.

If the stand doesn't quite meet your needs, no problem! All fittings have 1/4"-20 TPI threads, which almost all camera mounts use. Create your own stand for your specific purpose.

Linux

Linux distributions with kernels 2.6.26 and above have built-in support for USB Video Class (UVC) devices. Works on Raspberry Pi with Raspbian Jessie. We recommend using Cheese or GTK+ UVC Viewer.

Chrome and Android

Question:	can photo be taken other than by pressing the button on side of scope body? If so, is there a photo capability for both WiFi and wired connections
Answer:	For iPhone/Android, you can click the snap button to take a picture to save in iPhone/Android. But for PC, you need to wired connect it to PC and you can't use the snap button to take pictures. You can use the software in PC to take pictures.
Question:	Design flaw !Why dont the screws fit they are too short ? Wont hold microscope! Just got it in mail
Answer:	The seller is aware of the problem. They sent out an email right after I ordered mine asking me to let them know if the screws were too short. I sent them a message through Amazon. They sent the correct screws out immediately and posted a $5.00 refund for my trouble. Just let them know and I think they will take care of you.

Answer:	I did not order the whole microscope, just the stand. They sent me this question anyway. If it is the same then my base measures 5 3/4" long, 3" wide and 7/16" high. Hope this helps

Answer:	Gain, mostly. I used this tube to calm down a preamp that was way too hot with a 12ax7. The 12AX7 has a gain factor of 100, the 12AU7 has a gain factor of 19. If you are looking for a pin-for pin sub with less gain, but more than the AU7, use a 5751 which has a gain of 70, or a 12AT7 which has a gain of 60. Answer:	Believe you are asking can this amp be used with a speaker of 16 ohms impedance? If so I power my amp with a 25 watt 16 ohms speaker with no problem. Amp has two speaker connections for speakers of various ohms loads.

Answer:	No, it doesn't... And at least for a guitar player this headphone jack is not much useful as a completely quiet bedroom solution. Answer:	We are birds of a feather! The instructions say a bag of baking soda is included and it calls fo 3 ounces of vinegar. There is a suggestion to use a combination of red and yellow food coloring for the "lava". You can also paint the volcano to be more realistic, the directions suggest white for snow and green for trees. The volcano can be erupted as many times as the kids wish. Sounds really fun!
