Answer:	I'm not aware of any available front lens covers, but with the UV filters to protect the lens coatings from scratches, I don't see a need for front lens caps. Just another thing to loose.

What do the numbers mean?

15x50? 8x25? The two numbers used to describe any pair of binoculars are their magnification — 8x, 12x, 15x and so on — and the diameter of their objective lenses — 25mm, 36mm, 50mm, and so on. The larger the first number is, the larger the object will appear to be in the objective lens. Answer:	Yes and no. I've used them on an 18 foot boat in various conditions. They won't stop the up and down of the boat. So they won't "level" out everything. They will stop or level out your unsteadiness, to a degree. Let me put it to you this way; They won't be like you are on the hard, but they will be better than anything else.
Question:	What can I do about the outside getting sticky and turns my hands black? Thank you
Answer:	No, Deet and oils from your hands is not the problem. Both my Cannon binoculars have the sticky, gooey problem and I only used them with clean hands and have always stored them in a cool place. It happens when the polymer crosslinks break apart, a very well know process. There is no cure and oxygen if the main culprit. Why Cannon doesn't use a better shell for the binoculars is something beyond me. Cannon is a dishonest company. I have spent $1600 on the two binoculars and feel like this company has ripped me off since they have know of the problem for years! They still deny its a problem!!!

Answer:	It does not have a tripod screw, so basically, no. You would have to find a clamp head for your tripod that could hold onto the binoculars.

Answer:	Yes. Two straps: One for the soft carrying case, which adjusts from about 14 to 26 inches, and one for the binoculars, which adults from about 10 to 15 inches.
Question:	Do these come with a front lens cover
Answer:	It weighs 1 lb. 14 5/8 oz. with strap and lens covers. I put lens covers on the objective end to protect it; Televue Ethos fit well with a round of blue painters tape on the inside. There have been reports of problems with the older models if stored vertically, so I store them horizontally. There is a lot of CA(blue fringing) if not in perfect focus and spot on eye width adjustment, but quite OK if these are very accurate. You still need a reasonably steady hand but if you do this they are almost equal to having them on a tripod. Amazing really. Takes 2 AA batteries, preferably lithium(best Energizer Ultimate). These work best in the cold and last longest. Expensive but well worth it IMO.
