I called and they told me on the phone the same thing that I had to cover the cost of shipping them back. I told them to forget it.

Answer:	It's hard to say. The larger the the size, the more difficult it's going to be hold them in place. I'm using a 7x35, and there is room for a larger size but I think you'd be pushing it 15x70.

Answer:	It fits mine, not the easiest to screw into place but once u develop a feel for it it works fine. Move the tubes as far apart as possible once u have the threads started to gain the most leverage to screw it in. With this adapter and a decent tripod it works very well with the viper hd10x50s.

Answer:	From bottom of base to top is about 4.25 inches. From bottom of base to center of screw is about 3 7/8 inches. The base is about 1.75 inches in the long dimension and about 1 1/8 inches in the short dimension.

Answer:	A monopod would have the same connection normally used to mount a camera as a tripod. That connection just screws into the bottom of this adapter and should work.

Answer:	The adapter is metal & the knob, & washer are plastic. Measured with my micrometer, the widest part of the knob is .590" & the main body(between the knob & washer) measures .515". the washer measures .680". Hope this helps. Subjectively, it's a bit difficult to screw in tightly with just your fingers, but not too bad. I suppose one can use pliers to tighten it further, if needed. I hope I've answered your questions. Dan

Answer:	There is a cover cap on the center pivot of the binocular. It easily unscrews and the flat screw of the adapter screws into the pivot.

Question:	Please elaborate on the dimensions. How tall is it from the tipod mount to the top plate? It looks like a velcro strap. For $30 we need more details
Answer:	The base of the mount is 3/4" and the nylon strap adds another 1/4" if pressed flat against the mount. The strap can be as long as 13.5" which comfortably holds my 18x Nikon porro prism binoculars which are 7.5"w x 2.5"h. We have a extra large strap available for Steiner and Marine type binoculars.
Question:	Doesn't the strap tend to close the bins, eyepieces close together
Answer:	The strap doesn't exert very much pressure on the binoculars. If you're eyepieces are very easy to move, it might be an issue, but the two pairs that I have move smoothly, but it takes a bit of force to move them. The strap does not move them.
Question:	Is this product plastic or aluminum? I have looked everywhere and it just does't say
Answer:	It's plastic with some kind of soft but firm pad on top. There's a metal threaded hole underneath and an adjustable Velcro strap on top. It worked fairly well with my 10x50 binoculars but it might have difficulty with anything larger. However, I discovered there is a cap I could unscrew on the front center "hinge" of my binoculars that I wasn't aware of. Answer:	The base is padded and slip resistant and there is a lot of tension from the strap..... I have mine on a swaro 15x56.... I had to extend the strap a bit, but they're solid as can be!!

Answer:	This adaptor is threaded on the bottom with 2 1/4-20 standard tripod threads... So if your tripod has a 1/4 to threaded stud it should work...

Answer:	I'm not sure about that particular model, however it worked on my Nikon Prostaff 5S 80x42's. The issue with this bracket is that the screw is about a 1/4 too short to really tighten it down. YMMV

Answer:	If you have a basic try-pod, and your Nikon has the standard screw hole port on the front middle. It may have a protective cover screwed into the hole and should unscrew easily exposing the screw port. The only unknown is what thread type your Nikon has. Most of this type are standard. This bracket is very simple meaning, it's only purpose is to hold the binoculars ridgidly. It is very strong and bent properly. I purchased mine last year and I use it a lot. If for some reason your Nikon wouldn't work with it, I am sure someone you know would be able to use it and you loose out in nothing. But I believe it will work for your Nikon just fine.

Answer:	95mm wide by 160 mm long. They are fine for light weight binoculars on a tripod. Has a standard 1/4 by 20 thread to mount on tripod. I use it for my 10 by 40 mm Nikon binoculars. It is hard to steady anything above 7 power so l use this. Keep in mind these support light weight hand held binoculars. I have a 25 by 100 mm , 15 lbs binoculars which no way support something like that.
