Answer:	Yes I have the same issue. You have to it ignite then move it to regular(hi-lo) hopefully it will stay lit. I have to do it several times for I can never make it work

Answer:	Glass does not work in the smaller size pieces. Tried it and it smothered the gas and pushed the gas down and under the burner, which made the flame come out inside the table top. Went back to lava rock and it worked OK except that I had to buy a bag from home depot because Mfg ships such a small amount. Have not tried the larger size glass cuts (round style) but that may work better. Just need to have something that lets the gas travel up and around whatever you use.

The Celestron Binocular Viewer is well-made, with a rubberized coating to make it easy to grip, even with gloves on. The 22mm BaK-4 fully multi-coated prisms provide increased light transmission with no vignetting or light cut-off. Each eyepiece holder can be individually focused, and diopter adjustment readings are well marked. The 1.25” insert barrel is threaded for filters, allowing you to use one filter instead of threading them on each individual eyepiece.



The Celestron Binocular Viewer weighs about 18 oz and uses approximately 3.5" of back focus. This is sufficient for most catadioptric telescopes (Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov-Cassegrain, etc.) as well as a good number of refractor-style telescopes. Newtonians and some spotting scopes have the least amount of back focus. Using a binoviewer on these designs may result in the inability to focus to infinity. Answer:	I have no experience with the Prostaff 7s 8X30 but I can attest that the Nikon Monarch 7 8X30 are as clear and as easy to hold as any I have ever had. I gave the Monarch 7s to my son-in-law and would enjoy having another pair to replace them.

Answer:	The monarch 7s in 8x42 are some of the lightest Ive handled in that size. I love mine. But I was looking at the 8x30 in store the other day and these things weigh just about nothing and are tiny but make you feel like you are looking through a full size. They would be the perfect lightweight bins that can fit in your pocket. They are a little over $100 less then the 8x42 which makes them even more tempting. But if you are going to do any night viewing, the 8x42 will be better...not by a lot but still noticeably brighter at night. If I was comparing them side by side, I probably would have went with the 8x30s because of how compact and ultra light they are and just bought a 7x50 poro for night. If you're looking for one pair for all around use then get the bigger 8x42, they are still very light and handy for the 42mm objective...one of the lightest of that size
