Answer:	It’s always has to connected to the internet when it detects something and you have to plug in for charger all the times Because if you are not plug in charger it will shut down the camera

Answer:	Yes, I use the camera to continuously record all the time. Works well. You can turn off all alerts and just set it to record 24/7. You will need another conversion program to view the .DAV files from the SD card on a computer. The camera records in 5-minute videos, so there will be a lot of them.
