Answer:	Yes, it absolutely will. That being said, it all depends on the Jasper setup you are running on the RPI 3 and what you expect out of this. If you expect to be 100 feet away from the device while giving commands, this is not going to work for you. You'd need a microphone that stresses long range but if your needs are basic and close range (within a couple feet), this will work just fine. It most likely will not be plug and play and will take some manual configuration on your part but in turn would work just fine. There is a lot of supporting information online regarding this topic that would make this very easy for even a beginner. For the most part any linux distribution will work with this device as long as you are somewhat technically inclined and understand how to navigate through the OS.

Answer:	Yes, this doc cam works perfectly as a webcam, too. It has a good camera and microphone. One trick you should know to use it as a webcam: When you flip the camera head up to look at you, your face will appear upside-down on your screen. You can flip your image 180 degrees (right side up) by simultaneously pressing the "brighter" and "dimmer" light buttons. (These are the two buttons on the outer edges on top of the camera head). It works perfectly, looks and sounds great, and no special software needed! BUT I strongly recommend you obtain a regular webcam to show your face so you can continuously use the Inswan INS-1 as a doc cam to show your problem solving. Answer:	I use it for Dragon dictation. The mic is great for that purpose, but it's sensitive to external sound sources so I'm not sure it would work with speakers your playing game audio. If you do try it, play around with volume settings to get it right as sometimes too high or low volume affects recognition of commands.

The microphone is usually at least four feet from the TV and we've not had feedback issues. Success will also depend on your acoustic situation and how loud you need the TV to output. FYI: Our room is about 15 feet long with an 8-foot table, so we use a second (non-USB: CM-1000) microphone daisy-chained off the main mic, to make sure that everyone at the table is heard. I'm told that this microphone solution is working wonderfully.
