Soak 16 (10-inch) bamboo skewers in water overnight.

To make the marinade, in a blender, combine all of the ingredients and process until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Rinse out the blender.

Slice the pork against the grain on a 40-degree angle into pieces about 1½ inches wide, 2 inches long, and ¼ inch thick. Transfer the pieces to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 12 hours.

To make the sauce, meanwhile, toast all of the chiles in a 12-inch frying pan over medium heat, turning to color evenly on all sides, until fragrant and darkened, about 5 minutes. Transfer to the blender, add the tamarind, sugar, lime juice, and fish sauce, and process until smooth. Transfer to a 1-quart saucepan, place over medium heat, bring to a boil, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and let cool. Taste and adjust with more fish sauce if needed. The sauce should taste sour first and then equally sweet and salty. Stir in the cilantro and set aside. (The sauce can be made up to 3 days in advance and refrigerated in an airtight container.)

Divide the pork into 16 equal portions. Thread a portion onto each skewer, running the skewer through each piece as if you are sewing. Then, rather than stretch each piece taut, scrunch it together to form a round bundle that is as tight as possible. If there are any overhangs, tuck them in. The meat should occupy half of the length of each skewer, leaving the other half as a handle.

Light a chimney half full of natural wood charcoal. When all of the charcoal glows in the center and is covered with gray ash, scatter it onto the tray of a hibachi-style grill in a single layer. Position the cooking grate about 3 inches above the charcoal and allow to preheat for about 5 minutes. Oil the grate and arrange the pork skewers on the grate, spacing them about ¼ inch apart. Grill the skewers, flipping them often, until no pink remains and they are charred on the edges, 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve the skewers immediately with the dipping sauce as a snack. Add the sticky rice to make it a meal.

This product is excellent for filtering electrical "noise" coming into your system on the power line but that does not necessarily mean it will silence audible noise on a stereo system. There are some specialized products (like SurgeX) that may be a better choice. Do you know if the noise source is airborne (EMI/RFI) or conducted (on the power line)? Audio noise is often caused by ground loops. If this is the case then something like an isolation transformer may be a better solution.

Answer:	Hi, good question! This can be a confusing issue. Joule ratings are an arbitrary method for companies to market consumer class, low cost surge devices. There is no standardization for determining joule ratings and they can be misleading for selecting a surge protector. ESP manufactures extremely robust, industrial grade surge protectors that provide tremendous protection. They do not use use joule ratings because it is against the industry standards devised by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers). IEEE publishes the guidelines for surge protector performance. Here is an excerpt from IEEE Standard C62.72-2007 section 13.5... "The joule rating should not be a method for specifying SPDs (surge protection devices). Published joule ratings on SPD components are likely not comparable because some manufacturers of SPDs publish data based on waveforms that are not standardized. In addition, a higher joule rating associated with a specific SPD does not correlate with the performance of the device. The opposite can be true. For example, a component with a high joule rating could provide a high let-through voltage. Generally, this characteristic for SPDs is undesirable."

Question:	My plugs wont plug all the way in, they only touch the surface and im scared to add too much force, what do i do
Answer:	I can't say for certain but that may be a quality control issue. I've bought other brands and in a batch of 6 bars there may be 2 bars that you have to apply extra force initially on some of the sockets. My advice if you are concerned about it message the manufacturer and hear what they have to say about it before apply extra force or placing an RMA. For the surge bars that I got with the socket issues they are still working just fine.
Question:	Is there something like this but rack-mountable? Power outlets that are controlled by a master outlet
Answer:	Search for power distribution unit. PDU. As for whether you can get it with a master I don't know. I suspect if you do it will be expensive. Basic PDUs are pretty inexpensive though.

Answer:	I have bought more than fifteen of these for my offices and five for my home in 2012 and 2013. Every single one of them is still working as if new.
Question:	How do i get the green master plugs to work? Only the grey ones work for me
Answer:	Answer just came to me, and I feel like an idiot. This device has three types of outlets: Always (grey left), Master (green left), and Controlled (green right). Always outlets and the Master outlet supply power at all times. Controlled outlets supply power only when device in Master outlet is turned on. So, if a modem is plugged into the master outlet then all outlets will supply continuous power at all times; however, if a TV is plugged into the master outlet, then controlled outlets will only supply power while the TV is turned on.
