Answer:	It will not. The HDMI is a pass-through, however, the HDMI comes in ... it goes out. I have adjusted the camera resolution and frame rate and confirmed all settings pass through. We have used it with an ATEM switcher and also with eCam live software (without ATEM) with good results. It's kinda surprising how well this worked for our needs considering the extremely low cost.

Here are some tips: 1) The mic should be about 6 inches from you mouth. 2) If you still have trouble, enter "sound" in the Windows 10 search bar in the lower left of the screen. The "sound" settings screen will start. Click on the "troubleshoot" section. Turn on and hold the transmitter power button and then hold down the left and right arrow buttons of the transmitter at the same time and the text on the display screen will blink. 4. Turn on the receiver power and the indicator light of the receiver will flash 3 times. Then turn off the transmitter, after a while, turn on the transmitter again. 5.Then the RF/AF light will keep blue, which means the system is paired successful. 6. Set up.

Answer:	Yes, it will work, depending on what camera you have. It comes with a TRRS plug which is required when you want to plug it into a cellphone to record audio. (*Reason being that a microphone requires power to run, and a cellphone jack doesn't give off power. Since this was designed with cellphone use in mind, they used a TRRS plug that would draw power from your phone to run the mic.*) However, if you want to plug it into a camera, or another device with an external mic jack, you will need to buy the Rode SC3 adapter. (*Reason being that devices with a jack for an external microphone do give off power to run that microphone, so the extra function of the TRRS tip is not necessary.*)That Rode SC3 adapter will change the plug from TRRS to TRS, which can then be used with your nikon dslr, or other device with a 3.5mm external microphone jack.

Answer:	First plug the mic into the supplied TTRS-to-TRS adapter. (Unfortunately the seller provides only one of these, but you'd need two of them to use both mics at once.) Then plug that adapter into a special adapter like the Rode "Transforming Adapter" shown on this page: https://www.amazon.com/Rode-VXLR-Adapter-VideoMic-Mini-Jack/dp/B000Y021NA This mic needs very low DC voltage to operate -- usually between 1V and 9V, and it has an "unbalanced" connection. Professional audio gear often has a "balanced" input, and provides 48V DC. So if you use a simple (inexpensive) adapter that just has a few wires inside, you will blow out the electronics in the mic. The Rode adapter is designed for this specific problem; it has the correct electronics inside to lower and regulate the voltage, convert unbalanced to balanced, etc. As you can see, the adapter costs more than the mic. One reason this mic is inexpensive is because it is lacking all those special electronics that are inside the Rode adapter. At any rate, if your eventual goal is to use a mic with equipment that has XLR inputs, you'd probably be better off to just get the right mic in the first place ... one with balanced output that takes 48V "phantom power."
