Answer:	I think freezer and deep freezer are the same thing. What I bought keeps things frozen solid. I just was looking for freezers when I searched for this one. Have been very happy with it.

This is Rokinon's newest fisheye lens for Canon. It features some great new features that are not available on Rokinon's first highly rated 8mm f/3.5 fisheye lens. Optics and glass are high definition (HD) with very clear & sharp images. This lens also features a removable hood which can make it easier for use on full frame cameras. While this lens is designed for APS-C sensors, full frame users can now use it without the hood. On APS-C cameras like the Canon 60D, 7D and T3i, the pictures will fill the entire frame or screen. On full frame cameras like the Canon 5D, the lens will produce pictures with a semi-circular image and close images will appear proportionately large for a dramatic effect.

Question:	Does this have a Focus Confirmation chip
Answer:	I put a Focus Confirmation Chip on my Rokinon 14mm f2.8 and found it to be of little use in focusing. It was nice for communicating the f-stop to the exif data though.
Question:	Since it's a convex glass, I believe it does not take any filter? But then how to protect the lens glass
Answer:	Geez folks, it is a $200 lens and even if you scratched the front element it would make no difference in picture quality. Do you think pros use UV filters to protect the front element? Of course not. Glass is pretty darn strong and will take lots of abuse. Get over the minor paranoia, buy it and abuse it. Happy shooting!
Question:	Does it work on a mark III
Answer:	Yes it works on all full frame Canon cameras and its the best bang for the buck you will find. I had the Sigma 8mm ($900) and this lens is way cheaper at 1/3 the price and every bit as sharp. I love this lens and have a blast shooting with it.
Question:	Is there a functional difference between this lens and the Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 Fisheye Lens besides 2.5mm? Why is the Opteka $100 less
Answer:	Yes, it's slightly wider (8mm - 6.5mm = 1.5mm, not 2.5), so not "huge" but would be noticeable in side by side image comparison. As for price, that's all down to build quality and lens materials/coatings. Not having owned an Opteka, I can't comment (read others reviews) but I can say the Rokinon is rock-solid. Fair warning: super-ultra wide lenses are "get it all in frame" as much or more than your eyes see where most photography is the art of exclusion (only what I want you to see) so wider isn't always better. Answer:	no this will not fit on a Nikon 18-55mm lens, everything you read even Nikon's lens to filter chart will tell you that the 18-55mm vr lens has a 52mm tread but I have a d3400 that came with the 18-55mm vr lens and I also have a 52mm filter and a 52mm screw on wide angle lens the same as this minus the fish eye and neither will screw onto my 18-55mm vr lens , they are too small.. however a 55mm filter or threaded lens will fit the 18-55mm vr lens because it has a 55mm thread on it.
Question:	Does the fisheye wide angle lens make your pictures have the circle in a black rectangle or is it full-frame fisheye without the black border
Answer:	I use it with my 18-55mm kit lens that came with my Camera. When you have it attached and zoomed to 18mm it will have a bit of fisheye in the corners of the frame, if you zoom in a little you can basically eliminate it. I always do that.

Answer:	you mean can you attach these filters to a 58mm, well 58mm is pretty good why would you need a filter? I believe these filters are for smaller lenses and if that is your case then it depends on what kind of lens your using for the affect your looking

Answer:	my lens are threaded on the reciever end.. they fit fine. If you have a threaded reciever end on your lens it should work fine.
