Question: Can I put this on a standard tripod
Answer: Yes, but the unit will be off-center. The mounting screw that holds the camera is centered so that forces the holes you can use to mount it on a tripod to be left and right of center. If you absolutely need to have it centered on the tripod, you could buy a quick release plate and mount that to the bottom of the unit so it is centered. Then when you attach the quick release plate to a compatible clamp on your tripod everything will be centered.
Question: Does anyone know if this tray will work along with the camera in a dive case and Polarpro filters attached to the case? Or would they collide
Answer: This will only handle a GoPro size camera in case. It’s not that big.
Question: Is this easy to use with 7mm gloved, size L
Answer: If you can use that size glove on your Go-Pro, the rig shouldn’t present a problem. Just make sure the shutter button is not under the light mounts.
