Answer:	You’ll probably have better luck with other type of mount smallrig sells. Same top but different bottom (not a cold shoe). If you still need to with this, You need a hot shoe top and a 3/8 on bottom. Not easy to find.

Answer:	I don't know what your monitor/camera looks like, but the part that holds on to the camera looks like a claw. If you have a stand or base on the camera part the claw holds onto that. If it is a camera without a base, the claw will not work because there won't be anything for the claw to hold onto. I love mine though. When my grandson is older I can clamp it onto the top of the closet door in his playroom to get a pic of the entire room while he plays. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, but it may have a tendency to twist on the cage, unless you are planning to butt it up to something. I would use both screw instead of just the one. If the screw twist it will probably loosen and may fall off. Use at your own risk if you choose to mount with one screw.

Answer:	The mount is capable since it is a clamp. If you clamp it on the stand and try to bend the gooseneck over the top of the screen, it simply won’t work because the length of the neck is 25” and would simply not reach over the top. If you were to clamp it to the stand and come under the screen then it would work perfectly.

Answer:	I doubt it; however, you might be able to position it for her so it's not in her way in the first place. I use mine to make videos of items I'm painting at the table, so the phone needs to be nearly right over my surface. I have it clamped to the table edge to me left, far enough away that I don't bump it. I wish I had the option of posting a photo. The arm of this holder is flexible, but stiff enough to hold position like in the photo Amazon shows so it takes a bit of strength to bend it the way I want. I'm so sorry your daughter has this problem, and I hope my answer has helped.
