Answer:	Don't know exact dimensions except that group 27 battery fits well and top gives an extra 1.5 inches for cables and battery clamp.

Answer:	It is not entirely waterproof as there is a gap around the places where the cables go out from under the lid.. Splashed water from below could get inside, but not really a lot. No water gets in from above the box.

Answer:	If you're using this for a Neuton 36v battery, take the battery pack apart and there will be jumper wires connecting the old batteries. Remove those jumpers, and install on new batteries. To get 36v from 3 - 12v batteries, connect them in series...positive of 1st battery to negative of 2nd battery, positive of second battery to negative of third battery. I had a neuton, and tired of buying batteries. Spend the extra $$$ and go lithium ion.

Answer:	I have the opposite problem. Mine is too loose so I had to shim it with some paper. I also had to shim the contacts with small pieces of aluminum foil. Just a cheap product. We both got burned. If your return is still possible I'd use a very small screwdriver to get it out and get a replacement.
