Answer:	It will charge 14500. Same physical size as an AA battery. But, the voltage is different. This charger is intended for Li-Ion batteries only. The 14500’s are 3.6v. A standard AA is only 1.5v. I wouldn’t attempt to charge them with this charger.

Answer:	Your charging time is determined by your power adapter. This product does not include one, so you have to provide your own. This is likely to avoid complications with different electrical outlets from different countries (like outlets in America vs ones in the UK). The product recommends you use a power adapter that is 5volts with 2amps (usually will see "2A" or "2000mA"). 1A will charge your batteries at half that of 2a. So a power adapter that charges at 5v 2A will charge twice as fast as an adapter that is 5v 1A. Keep in mind, they recommend 5v 2A, so going beyond 5v and/or 2A could cause damage to your charger and/or batteries.

Answer:	no, and you wouldn't want to unless you have an absolutely enormous solar panel. Solar charging is very very slow and if you were to charge say to 18650 which are common for Vaping mods and other things a mid-size solar panel would probably take several days to charge them two their full capacity so the fact that there's no USB slot for a solar panel is actually a good thing because it wouldn't be practical whatsoever

Answer:	The numbers are battery sizes, usually Lithium. 18650 means 18 mm wide and 650 mm tall. Since the -ve contact on this charger is on a spring, it will handle pretty much any standard cylindrical Lithium size as well as standard AA/AAA. But if all you want to charge is AA/AAA, there are chargers available for under $10 at your grocery store. As well as $35 chargers that will drain and recondition them (not at your grocery store).

Answer:	You should try again! D batteries don't fit, but C batteries do. They don't fit _well_, like 18mm batteries do, but you can get two C's in there. Just don't jostle it a lot.

Answer:	The one I got has this on the label : Under the upc barcode: X0014AV9TH Part number : Opus BT - C3100 V2.2 Dig... - US Plug (Purplish Blue) The case, the plug and the cable are all black. The only thing I can see that would relate to the purplish blue reference is the color of the LCD screen once it is plugged in to the power outlet. Otherwise the entire physical charger cable and plug are all black. It works great for me.
Question:	Does this have the ability to test batteries strength? not just good/bad but how many volts and amps it will put out
Answer:	It has quick test which I believe is the battery impedance. Multiply the battery impedance times the current draw of your application. The result is the voltage drop internal to the battery. If that number is significant, like more than about a few % of the battery voltage the loss will heat up the battery. The most discharge current is 2000 mA or 2 Amperes.
Question:	Can this charger be used with Netgear Arlo rechargeable batteries at 2300 mah wen 2000 mah looks like max output from charger
Answer:	The maximum battery capacity this charger can handle is 20,000mAh. This should not be confused with the maximum charging current of 2000mA.Note that Capacity (mAh) = Current (mA) * Time (h). That means to recharge a 20,000mAh battery at 2000mA will take ~10 hours.
Question:	What is the difference between the c3100 and the c3400? is it just the car charger comes with the c3400? tyia
Answer:	In a way, yes.. Only one comes with a car charger. The car charger is just pretty much a straight cord through, so it should be cheap to acquire. The input voltage on these is 12v. The reason that there is 2 versions is, one is labeled to be sold in the USA only, and one is for international sales.. Basically, the same thing, just 2 different model numbers on them. The international version is cheaper though. Also, while they do not mention this, they say that these will only work with AA, etc.. they do not mention D size batteries, but, if you have them, I found that if you just lay a penny upright over the + end, it will make a connection and you can charge D size batteries with this too.
