Answer:	Even the power strips with keyhole mounts are really hard to mount. All strips have four screw holes on the bottom. I remove two diagonally opposite screws, drill the holes through all the way and then screw the strip directly to the wall from the front. Yeah, that's not recommended, but I've never had a problem doing this for 20 years. If these were more thoughtfully designed, they'd have built-in holes that go all the way through the strip, so you could easily and securely mount it to a wall or furniture.

Answer:	Depends on the amp rating of the circut breaker or fuse. Assuming you live in the USA, your wife's hair dryer will draw about 15 to 20 amps. So I would make sure her dryer is on at least a 20 amp breaker. Hope this helps.
Question:	If this doesn't convert 220v to 110v, how can some people possibly be able to use this in Europe? Don't you need the conversion for charging cameras
Answer:	It doesn't convert - think of it as a "pass through". It will safely pass through current it is connected to. Most power bricks will handle the different currents. For example, my notebook computer's power brick, my camera's battery charger, and my mobile phone charger will handle 110-240v, 50-60hz. So these power bricks handle the conversion from AC to DC. This unit just passes through whichever voltage it is connected to. It's advantage is that it turns one socket into 4, provides surge protection, and provides USB power. What won't work are devices (e.g. a USA hair dryer) that ONLY works on 110V. The pass through voltage will kill it in Europe. So for whatever devices you are thinking of plugging in, check the power brick or the unit itself to see if it will handle multiple voltages.
