Answer:	My best recollection on looking at the box, instructions and the receptical before install, the receptical was made in the US. Do not be fooled, if you are installing in a shallow box, the size is very close to a standard GFCI receptical.

In the trip mode when testing, or if there is a fault, the green light goes out - there is no light If you see a blinking red light, it means the receptacle has failed.
