Answer:	According to the description: "Superior Safety: Overload protection and a fire-retardant casing ensure complete protection for you and your devices." Since it does not specify surge protection, and since, according to another answer, it will work on 240 VAC, it does not have a surge protector. If it had a surge protector and was plugged into 240 VAC, the surge protector would kick in causing a small explosion.
Question:	Is this a surge protector or just a power strip
Answer:	The output of the USB ports is 5V-3.6A, three ports share the total output ( 2.4A max per port ).

Answer:	I have contacted Anker on this. Was confusing to me that it was stamped 125~. This was there response. “The PowerPort Cube can work with input voltage 90V - 264V. For travel use, PowerPort Cube is designed to be compatible with all standard wall outlet voltages worldwide. I also attach a video and a picture for your reference. About the input--125V/10A located on the product and specification, it is the standard design for the US. In addition, according to the new changes in FCC(Federal Communications Commission) certification requirements, we are not allowed to print "90V - 264V" on the product itself. That's why it's different from the previous power strips. However, the function works the same.” So... yes it can be used overseas as long as you have the appropriate plug adapter for the plug end of the PowerPort cube. Just remember if you use it this way, don’t forget that if you plug anything into the cube in this fashion, the device you plug in would need to be capable of 240 V also. This is not a converter. The USB outputs will work fine.
