Answer:	If you have experienced a lighting strike, the MOVs (metal oxide varistors) that dissipate the energy have been stressed. They may not handle the next strike very well and damage the important equipment you plug into this. It is best to purchase a new one so that it will work properly for the next lighting strike. If this is a common occurrence at your home, you should look into lighting arrestors and better ground for your electrical connection to the power grid. I would not trust the protection light (Green) if you are smelling any sort of burnt wire smell. The likelihood of a fire hazard is increased - if wire insulation has melted due to heat from the lighting strike. If I remember correctly, MOVs usually fail to an open state but I would not bet on it without testing. It is cheap insurance to throw this out and replace it with new.

Answer:	I don't know why not. It's just a storage device. The stream from the device may not be fast enough to play your games directly from it, but you could certainly download from it to your computer to play.

Answer:	I'd recommend against 100'; Given this unit claims 2900 watts, essentially 25amps (that's a lot for regular wall voltage!), you'll ideally want a 10gauge cord, although a good quality 12 gauge cord may suffice. Also, 100' is pushing things, 50' will be better if possible.

Anything you would normally plug into a wall outlet can be plugged into this Bellkin device: just don't exceed the wall outlet's limit (typically a 15 amp max).

Answer:	Hi David, unlike your house I do have 3 pronged outlets. I know you could get the juice to flow by uasing a 2 into 3 prong converter (mostly gray in color) and are cheap to purchase....BUT I AM NOT sure about the surge protection working, I would call Belkin....

Answer:	No. The one I have has a protected light and a grounded light but no reset button.

Answer:	Yes, the packaging says, "RFI Noise Filtration 150kHz-100MHz up to 43 dB Reduction. The one I got was the Belkin Surgecube and it says it is a Surge Protector.
