Answer:	All of the answers that suggest being on "A and B 120 volt sections" are wrong. This device works over WiFi. That old "A and B" advice is for obsolete powerline systems like X-10. Any problems are due to WiFi signal quality. The Smart Plug and Echo do NOT need to be on the same "120 volt section."
Question:	Do I need an Alexa device in the home to control the outlet while we're away
Answer:	As long as you have the app and the outlet is paired with your Alexa app, you can control it through the app (no echo device needed).
Question:	Does it work with a 5g wi-fi or is like the other one you sell that only work with a 2g wi-fi
Answer:	You probably don't want this device to use 5 ghz wi-fi, which has a limited amount of signal channels. 2 ghz wi-fi has fewer channels, running at lower speeds, and is generally conjested with traffic from your neighbor's wifi. You won't, however, notice a difference in lag for a smart plug due it is only using about 1 kilobit per second over a connectionless protocol to activate or deactivate the plug. This plug, running on the 2 ghz wi-fi, means that there is one more channel available on the 5 ghz wi-fi for a device that really needs it, like a TV or a gaming console, which tend to transmit at around 25,000 kilobits per second each.

Answer:	I haven't even installed my smart plug yet and I can already answer this. The plug will turn it on but how would it press the button to brew? Again, I can already say it won't do that. Another answer mentioned using a switch bot. Okay. So smart plug $10-$15 plus switch bot $20 ... Dude, just go buy a coffeemaker with a clock/timer. They've been around FOREVER and will both turn themselves on and brew your coffee for you and you don't even have to make a whole pot. You can get an entire coffee maker for like $25 then use your smart plugs for something else/something that doesn't already have the ability to turn itself on/ect. :)

Question:	Does the type a (2 prong) type have even prongs or is one larger than the other
Answer:	I bought the 3 prong version. On the side that plugs into the wall, the Two prongs are the same size (and then there is the round prong). The slots for the prongs on the unit itself accommodate the larger and smaller prong type. I don’t know if the 2 prong version is the same.
Question:	is the 2.4a per line or the total of 3 usb line
Answer:	I think the answer from the Tessan Direct Seller is too vague and did not clearly answer the question. If each of the three USB ports can provide 2.4a all at the same time then this unit provides 36 watts of output. I've yet to find any unit like this that puts out that much power, so I suspect the 2.4 amps they mention is the total for all three ports. So one port could provide 2.4 amps so long ass the other two ports were not being used.

Answer:	All power for this device comes from the TOP outlet of your receptacle -- so if that is switched then all outlets on this device will be switched (or if your bottom outlet is switched then all outlets on this device will NOT be switched).
Question:	What are the actual dimensions of this unit
Answer:	My outlets are flush with the cover plate surface. Both the outlet and cover plate surfaces stand proud of the wall surface about 3/16". After I remove the center screw from the cover plate , install the new wall plug adapter into the original plug [with or without the original wall plate] the new wall plug adapter does not contact the wall surface. It is about 1/8" to 3/16" gap between the wall and the rim of the new wall plug adapter. I don't like this because the result is a wiggly assembly, does not feel solid or secure even though it is firmly screwed into the old, pre-existing outlet. It the new wall plug adapter had a deeper recess on the back [wall] side it would not have this gap and would feel much more secure.

Answer:	This was a big fail on the unit I received: the mounting holes were improperly made, so it was not possible to mount the unit with screws. Such keyholes require space that creates a “slot” for the head of a screw to slide in to hold the unit. The holes in my unit had no slots for the screw heads. I took the trouble to make slots using a dremel tool and was successful. But such surgery should not be necessary. I gave this 2 stars because of this.

Answer:	Guess it would depend on if you are using all 3 ports at once. 1 item can take it all, 2 gets 1/2 each & 3 gets a 3rd each. Either way, not super fast charging but does work. Too bad the LED's on this are barely seen in the dark let alone in the light.
Question:	I have it plugged into the wall and everything seems to be working except the grounded and protected light indicator is not on. What should I do
Answer:	This is a pretty good indication your outlet is not grounded. Check on some other outlets. I actually used this device around new home with old wiring to determine which ones had improper grounds and needed further investigation for improper grounding or GFCI.

Answer:	I think that depends on how tight your outlet is set into the wall. Mine does not sag but it could sag if I were to put it in a different outlet in my home. Honestly I really love it and it looks chic against the wall rather than having a long surge protector!
