Answer:	I have the gen 2 paperwhite (released in 2013). With wifi on, I can go to kindle store on the Paperwhite, shop for books, and if I am eligible to borrow (once per month), I can borrow a book straight to the kindle. Not all books are eligible for borrowing though.
Question:	Can I configurate Alexa with the Wifi directly without using a cephone
Answer:	Not necessarily. You can download a book via WiFi if you want to. Digital books can be downloaded from your library onto your computer. They go into your Amazon Account. Once that is done, go into your Amazon account under "Your Content and Devices." Download the books onto your computer. Then use the USB that came with your kindle to connect it to your computer. Now download the books from your computer into the "documents" folder on your kindle. You can now read the books on your kindle. Using this method you never need to use WiFi on your kindle.

Answer:	This works for older models, not sure if it's the same folder for new Kindles, but the idea is similar: Plug your old Kindle into a computer or laptop. Drag the "Documents" folder from your old Kindle to the desktop. Disconnect old Kindle. Connect new Kindle. Open up Document folder on your desktop. Drag contents into Documents folder in new Kindle.

Answer:	I have 3 versions of Kindle and love them. I wanted to purchase the e-reader as I read at least 3 books a week BUT not unless I can read myself or choose to be read to. Texts to-speech application is a computerized voice and can be activated on any book. Whereas Audible books are read by a human, man or woman, and costs on average $7.49 for Audible feature to be added to the book, over and above the cost of the book. Trust me there are times when the human voice reading the text is so annoying it spoils the whole "narrative" I have going in my mind. There was a favorite book of mine and the main character was a guy. When the book was first published it wasn't offered in Audible only text-to-speech which is standard on Kindle Fire. When the Audible feature was available I paid $4.99 to have Audible attached and the voice was a squeeky woman who was representing the male character! It altered the vision of the hero in my head. Its a $$$$$$/money issue not technology

Answer:	Yes, the cord is removable. The cord is a common two prong (figure 8 style) power cord. Also, the power supply is built into the speaker.

Answer:	Not that I'm aware of, it is heavy and not really something you'd want to carry around. If you had some time of generator and WiFi you could move it with you.
