Important Note: As mentioned above the mounting arms for this projector mount have a maximum reach of 12.5”. Answer:	I forgot, it was for my 6 year old grand son. It was the right size for him, I think it was 4 or 4 1/2 feet, I think the size was listed on the add or I wouldn't have bought it. I searched pretty hard to find a short one for him that didn't actually look like a kids pole. This one was nice, I was happy with it.

Answer:	I would not think so unless your device has an adapter plate. I THINK that the mounting holes on your projector need to be within a range of something like 8" to 12". check the specs for exact.

Answer:	You can but i would not. The weight of whatever youre mounting might break through the drywall. I jave mine mounyed to the studs behind the drywall.

Answer:	Spin the collar with the ridges at the end of the main post to the left and right to loosen and tighten for extension and retraction.

Question:	This is certainly less of an eye sore than others, but is the protection equivalent to a four "prong" style mount
Answer:	I assume this question is related to how you're going to secure the base mount to your ceiling. In my case, my ceiling was a very old sheetrock material. The 4 mounting screws and plastic inserts did not work on my sheetrock. However, if you go to Home Depot and purchase a bag of 1/8 in. x 2 in. Zinc-Plated Toggle Bolt with Mushroom-Head Phillips Drive Screw (4-Pieces) for a cost of about $2.24 this will more than adequately secure the base mount to your ceiling and hold the weight of this video projector. Each of the mushroom-head phillips screws is rated to hold a weight of 25 lbs. So, multiple 4 x 25 and you'll see they can easily hold up this light video projector. Good luck with your installation - I'm happy & safe with mine!
