Question:	Can it handle a cpap machine for eight hours a night
Answer:	Check your CPAP label. Many, if not most, are 120-240 already. No need for a converter (just use the correct plug adapter)
Question:	I see that the description states not to use curling iron, straightener & hair dryer. Will this adapter be able to handle these devices separately
Answer:	You need a heavy duty converter to deal with those items, as they use a lot of current (power = voltage x current). Or, as others have said elsewhere, buy devices that can use voltages from 110 - 240 and then buy the adapter for the plug. A heavy duty converter weighs a LOT, so it will cut into your allowed weight for your luggage.
Question:	Going to israel. need to use for hairblower, phone chargers, lap top, hair straightener. Can this work
Answer:	I can't speak for the power conversion in Israel, but my experience in Spain demonstrated the device could not handle my wife's flat-iron (hair straightener). It worked for phones, ipads, camera chargers, and all other electronics great. Her flat iron would power on (light would come on indicating it was operating) but it never got hot enough to use.
Question:	Any issues with plugging in a couple Apple USB adapters into the available 120 outlets to charge 2 iPads & use the built in USB for 2 6+ iPhones
Answer:	If all you are using this for is iPads or iPhones, you are wasting money. Those devices auto-detect the voltage coming in. They adapt to whatever power you are using (110v-220v, anyway). All you need is a plug converter.Laptop computers also should auto-detect. Look at your power block - it should say "Input 100-240v, 50-60Hz."
Question:	I bought this item but doesn’t work. Why? There’s some exceptions
Answer:	In my case, it has been working fine. I use it for the devices which I bought mostly in China where only 220 voltage is available. I suggest you to use it as below. 1. 110-115V. Power source: Plug it to the power source using the cable behind the machine. And make it sure that you put the red indicator which is at back side just above the power cable at 115V. and plug 220V. devices into this machine using 220V. outrage which locates at left side of front side. 2. 220V. Power source: Plug it to the power source using the cable behind the machine. And make it sure that you put the red indicator which is at back side just above the power cable at 220V. and plug 110V. devices into this machine using 110V. outrage which locates at right side of front side. And switch on. That's All.

Answer:	If I understand the question, it's simply a 220 plugin that you attach a 220 appliance to, and it plugs into a 110 wall socket. I have a 220 1600w donut machine that I plug into it, and it works fine. Do the math and find out what the total wattage is for your generator and pump.
Question:	I want to bring an instapot (1000w) from canada to uk - will this work
Answer:	First of all in general it's not a great idea do you use a voltage converter for appliances that generate a lot of heat. But that doesn't mean it won't work. If you're going to try it, you want at least a 2000 watt voltage converter or maybe even 3 or 5000. Reason is that appliances that heat might say they're thousand Watts, but that's usually calculated as their average wattage once they're up to temperature and running. When you first turn it on and it's heating up oh, it's likely that the wattage is actually much higher until it gets to temperature. For example I had a 1500 watt water kettle. Blew out the fuse on my 2000 w voltage converter, because when you turn it on it spikes higher than 2000. so it's a good rule of thumb to buy a voltage converter that can handle about 3x whatever wattage you need especially for a heating appliance. It's also like the top speed of a car. just because a car can go 200 miles per hour doesn't mean you should run it at 200 miles per hour for long periods of time. You'll wear it out and damage it pretty quickly. So if you have a 900 watt appliance you don't really want to run that on a thousand watt voltage converter, it puts too much stress on it and you're better off getting a 2000 watt converter
Question:	Replacement fuse size for ITU-1000 unit
Answer:	I have the ITU 500 which is rated for lower current. The ITU 1000 is the higher current model. I'd check with the manufacturer for the proper fuse.

Answer:	It should. The Sony just wants to see 110V, which this will provide. Sometimes these devices have power supplies that detect anything between 110 & 210V and are fine with either.
Question:	Are they supposed to be loud
Answer:	It is not supposed to be loud. I have had this problem with a few of mine. Trying giving it a gentle tap on a hard surface. If that doesn’t work you can take it apart and try to get the fan to sit properly in its slot or what I did was remove the fan altogether. Unit will still work but at a reduced power rate. If it overheats. It will just shut down.

Answer:	I'm not sure on watts allowed, however, we were able to utilize all 4 USB ports and charge our phones, tablets and cameras at the same time without any problems.

Answer:	If you look at the power specs of your device, check the AC input voltage requirements. Most items will be able to accept anything from 110-240 volts. If it says that, you can just use the adapter. If it can only accept 220 volts you need a power converter.

Answer:	Just got back from a 15 day stay in China and uses the adapter throughout with no problems. Used on 240 volt supplies and even on 120 volt systems, encountered no problems. Even here in the states when I only had a single 120 V plug, when I wanted to connect multiple UPS cords the adapter worked without any problems. For a laptop or any other piece of equipment verify that the laptop or Kindle, iPad whatever, doesn't draw more power than the adapter is certified for. I actually had four UPS devices and an additional 120 V device connected at one time. Enjoy your travels.

Answer:	I used this in South Africa with no problems.

Answer:	Yes! I have used it with my cpap in South Africa, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Answer:	Check the Greece electric power supply ( voltage and frequency ) and then Greece electrical plug configuration and compare with the provided power adapters. If one matches, then the Bestek converter will work. The converter is noisy and do not exceeded the recommended power ( watt ) rating.
Question:	Does it work in Amsterdam
Answer:	I am sorry, I have no idea where it came from that I ordered this, but I never did. However, having traveled around the world, I would say that it would. Most of the universal converters have a converter (the main box you are looking at in the picture) and then the plugs that you plug your US plug into and plug into the type of plug that they use in the country you are visiting. MOST European use the standard three plug that this one has a couple of. So I am guessing you would be fine. Remember, clocks will NOT work, because they rely on the amperage in the US and it is different. These are only good for plugging in blow dryers and such. I would use extreme caution even plugging a computer into it. Just relax and enjoy Amsterdam. It is amazing!!
