Answer:	It's just wrapped around a tree branch. But I would wrap a chain around the branch and attach to that. I don't know knots, sorry. Either way just keep an eye on the rope. It may take years but weather and age make them fray. Have fun.

Answer:	Um. It says 100 pounds. Having said that, when I put one up for my kids, I tested it to make sure that the branch would hold. I'm 6' 5" and weigh 200 pounds. I periodically retest it and haven't had an issue so far.

Question:	Is the swing steel pipe anti-rust? Can it be placed in the yard in rain or snow in autumn and winter
Answer:	I have the longer size item but the width was accurate for the floor opening, specifically 4 inches with the flange close to six. But beware the "Non metallic damper controls airflow" feature. In the open position this plastic device blocked more than fifty percent of the airflow available from the vent. It was so objectionable in my situation that I went to the trouble of cutting and breaking it away. Even the diecut of the surface plate blocks about 20 to 30 percent of the flow. If I now need to block the flow, my only choice is to lift the grate from the floor and wrap a piece of tinfoil around the bottom opening. If you need true variable flow, beware of this design.

what is the swing hanging point distance

Answer:

I'm not sure others are understanding your question. This register does not have louvers. There are two parts to it, the top grill which is metal and has large holes cut into it as you see in the photos, and the bottom box which is a similar design, just equally sized holes. There is a little plastic lever that you can use to slide a baffle plate over those holes to have them open, partially closed or fully closed. But 100% of the air flow is straight out of the register.

Question:	How many weight does it really hold
Answer:	It's meant for a vent opening 4"x10". Remove your existing vent cover and measure the opening in the floor. That will tell you what size replacement cover you need to order.
Question:	do you have to buy the swing brackets separately or do they come with it
Answer:	I used the clear plastic reflectors on metal vents before I bought these. I get more directional air flow when they are popped up vs the using clear plastic reflector. There was a noticeable difference. The vent space when popped up is approximately 11.25 inches wide and 2.25 tall. The vents where air flows through is approximately 1/4inch
Question:	Hi, mine was missing three bolts (the smaller ones) as well as washers and lock nuts. I see no way to contact seller here, can these be sent
Answer:	The register doesn't "automatically" divert the air. There is a little lever pictured in my review that you can slide to open or close a baffle so you can have the top openings either open or closed. If you pop the vent up however you must have the top vents closed or no air will be diverted. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can you put other swings on this such as a pod swing
Answer:	Those dimensions are the size of the outside-base that rests on the floor. It inserts in my 10-inch x 4-inch register opening just fine. The 3.2 inches is the height of the grill when fully extended/opened.
