Answer:	This unit is not a "transmitter". I think what your asking is does it change the sound of the output. The answer then would be "Yes." This unit takes the digital audio from the TV digital output plug and then converts it to a regular analog audio output signal. Example: I have a small Bluetooth transmitter that I use for my earphones. It uses normal analog. I can't plug it into the speaker output jack of the TV because those jacks cut the speaker off. So I needed another audio output to plug it into. The only other audio output on the TV was a 192 KHz digital output jack. So I use the DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) to convert that digital TV audio to analog and then I plug the Bluetooth transmitter into the DAC converter. The Base and Volume control does work to change the audio level and base into the Bluetooth transmitter. I hope that helped.

Answer:	No, this device cannot convert a 2D signal to a 3D signal. It is merely stating that you can run a 3D signal through the box without issues. The Tv, Cable, this box, whatever is driving the display (eg, a disk player.console, or pc), and the content you're trying to stream all have to all support a 3D signal. Movies especially, are hard to find in 3D. The film needs to be recorded with two cameras working simultaneously, like how people use two eyes to make a 3d image of their surroundings. Doing this without two cameras requires someone to guess how close the object should be, a very imperfect science. --Basic rundown on how 3D works The marketing is referring to HDMI's ability to carry a stereo-graphic 3D signal. This is used by special tvs to make a 3 dimensional image. It is basically two simultaneous video streams. One goes into the left eye and the other goes into the right (the exact technology that achieves this varies, but it requires special hardware, like special glasses that only allow a frame of video to go through one eye at a time, and alternates at a rate too fast to notice). Answer:	Hi, When recording a single microphone, you should ensure that you create a mono audio track in your DAW instead of a stereo audio track. When you record onto a mono audio track, the output from that track will be heard on both sides of your headphones or speakers (ensuring the output is set to stereo), however, if you record onto a stereo track, the audio will just be recorded onto the left side of a stereo file and you will ony hear it on the left of your headphones/speakers. Question:	I have a panasonic viera tv that has optical port and want to connect my speaker but has no optical just 3.5 jack audio will this work? loud enough
Answer:	It will work. As far as loudness, I am not sure, as I bought an inexpensive computer speaker set with wing speakers and subwoofer containing its own amplifier. I connected that analog jack to the converter and get amazing sound from my Viera TV. Only issue is having to adjust the sound volume and bass intensity manually without remote on the speaker control unit. Maybe these speaker sets are available with a remote if that is a problem.

If you are connecting to a new smart TV with the digital audio output, the only way to accomplish what you want is to buy a separate sound bar with the outputs you want. Then you don't need this converter. In my case, I had to use this to go to an existing analog sound system to accomplish being able to have both speakers and headphones. It is my contention that new TV's are discriminating against those with hearing issues. I have to buy extra parts so others in the room can hear when I have headphones on. Most new TV's allow only one out put working at a time, unlike the older analog type.

PASS:It means HDMI in and HDMI out,no audio extactor.Supports all formats including more advanced Dolby Digital Plus, PCM5.1CH and beyond.)

2CH Mode: It means HDMI in to HDMI out and 2RCA out.It can extract digital 2CH PCM stereo audio signal from the HDMI input and convert it to 2CH analog stereo output through its RCA style L/R analog output. The RCA L/R output will not have sound if the incoming audio is multi-channel audio (>2CH). Set EDID switch to 2CH for RCA L/T stereo application.
