| Answer: | In my case, absolutely! I've had these speakers over ten years. I stopped using them because they started buzzing, sat in my garage for 3 years before I tried again. I was cleaning the garage ready to throw them out. I connected them and figured out the speaker connector had a broken wire, fixed it and had clean super loud sound for about 10 minutes. Then I heard rattling sound, all the foam disintegrated. Bummed! But then I found these online took about an hour to replace and holy moly, they sound brand new. Easy to fix I put foam back like old one, under cone not above, worked perfectly... good luck! |

| Answer: | The speakers I repaired were a different brand than the one you're asking about. However, this repair kit should work for any speaker matching the kit diameter size advertised. It was very doable if you have limited skills. It worked great on my 6" diameter speakers, and they still sound perfect post repair after 5 years. |

| Answer: | I bought my klipschs for cheap, so I centered the foam and coils as best I could and let it set. I keep them from being cranked up to full, but I can tell one of my subs is not quite centered correctly if I get it playing really loud. Otherwise I haven't had an issue, and since I only paid $50 for the 4.1s, if they blow up I'm not out much. |
