Don't understand why yours doesn't fit. Have all the unnecessary screws and Toshiba face plate been removed? I used the face plate that came with the enclosure. It was jammed inside and had to be careful in prying it out. |

Make sure that there is good contact between the SATA connector inside the enclosure and on your slim drive. You can use the face plate if the one from your slim drive does not fit. If the existing face plate on your slim drive is too big, you won't be able to push it back fully in order make a good SATA connection. |

| Answer: | No absolutely not. There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about what this cable is for. Each USB port has the capability of supplying 0.5 Amps of current at 5V. Sometimes you have an attached USB device that needs more power than one USB port can supply to operate. This cable simply combines the power from two USB ports to power your device that needs more power to operate. So instead of just getting 0.5 Amps, you get 2x 0.5 Amps = 1 Amp at 5V. So basically twice the supply power. One leg of this cable will support data communication and power supply. The other leg of this cable only supports power supply to double your power. You can NOT connect two data connections through this cable. It is NOT a USB bridge allowing you to support more than one USB data connection. It simply supplies double the power to a USB device that needs more power. |

With relays being made more cheaply these days, I wouldn't recommend this for a pump continually drawing more than 15 or 20 amps. |
