Answer:	The arms do NOT spread wide enough for the Kindle fire with its charging plug on the side. It can be used as a rest for the Kindle, and use the blue tooth or aux plug to stream sound, but cannot use it as a charging doc. I have used the arms in the down position to rest the Kindle fire on it, but have to use a separate cable to charge it.

Answer:	It has a power cord and battery for backup in case power goes out. I have never used it on just batteries, so do not know how long it would last. Great unit though. The shaker goes off for a second or 2 then idle for a couple seconds then shakes for 2 or 3 seconds and so on. I smack the snooze button and it starts shaking again in 10 min. I do not use the sound or lights for alarm.

3. (25 - Sleep Indicator) will display once the sleep timer is set. The Bluetooth audio or FM Radio will automatically turned off if the set timer expires.
