Our bed cooling system will regulate your body temperature and provide you with a better night's sleep. A cooler bed helps you fall asleep faster, decreases insomnia, releases melatonin, and decreases the risk for metabolic elements.



How it works:



Chilled water circulates through a PVC vinyl mattress cooling pad. The chilled pad removes body heat, cooling you to a desired sleeping temp. After the water has absorbed your body heat, it's returned to the Mattress Cooler and recirculated.



Setup:



5-10 mins



1) Place cooling pad between mattress and a fitted sheet. To cool yourself, place the pad from head to foot. For two people, place across the mattress between your neck and waist. Avoid placement near sharp objects or high friction areas where you get in/out of bed.



2) Connect cooling pad tubes to the cooler. Remove the top lid so you can pour up to 2 quarts of water into the Mattress Cooler. The water tank has a water level to prevent overfilling the unit.



3) Press "on". If you get an E1 error, turn off the cooler, add water, then power on.



Cleaning/Maintenance:



The system will use about 1 qt of water a night. To preserve your cooler, drain the system every 2 weeks. To drain, remove the drain plug under the unit. You can add up to 1/8 tsp of bleach to the water to keep tubes clean. Don't overuse bleach; it can damage the system.



Tips:



Place cooler higher than the mattress pad for better circulation. If you are having issues with the water overflowing, first try running it with less water in the tank. If you're still having the issue after, change the fan cycle to D4 when you wake up; it will prevent backflow.



Cooling pads should be replaced every 4-6 months, friction will develop weak spots. A replacement pad is included and additional pads are available on Amazon

Question:	Are you able to sleep on top of the blanket? And if so is it as effective? Because that is what I'm really looking for, something under me to keep me
Answer:	We see this occasionally... especially after rough shipping, or sometimes cleaning or moving the unit. The green evaporation pad can get misaligned with the catch tray that directs water back into the tank...instead a small trickle can escape...dripping instead down the inside of the case and out the bottom. If this is your issue...the fix is quite simple...just take off the grill in the back (may need a small screwdriver to pop it off) and firmly push the evaporation pad inward...usually just a millimeter or two is all it takes. It is also possible for debris to accumulate on the cooling pad leading to a similar issue....so a good flushing with hot water can also help dislodge anything on the pad. In the meantime...I would recommend running the unit in a shallow tray or Tupperware container to catch any leaking water until you are confident the problem has been resolved. Question:	How long is this cool blanket
Answer:	Not at this time (July 2019)....the heat transfer properties of these pads make them a great match for evaporative cooling....these pads will feel cool and efficiently pull heat away from your body with water temperatures in the low 70's. If we used a cotton pad with hoses running through it....the heat transfer with these temperatures would be minimal....so bottom line...these pads are what make these units possible at such a low price compared to our peltier/thermoelectric competition. However...just an FYI...stay tuned because we are planning on launching a peltier/thermoelectric Mattress Cooler this fall and it will likely be paired with one of these pVC pads with a cloth cover on one side for a little added comfort and a larger temperature range. Question:	Can you put blanket in dryer on easy care, delicate cycle
Answer:	My advise is to take the cooler and the pad to the tub or shower. Unhook the cooling pad and hang it from the shower rod to drain. The Black water cooler has a small black rubber drain plug in the bottom right corner. pull it out and let the old water drain out. Then bring it back to your bed and refill with fresh water. This is required and recommended every few weeks because the wet evaporation pad will collect any dust in the air and it will collect/concentrate in the water tank over time....but of course it really depends on the room conditions.
