| Answer: | The woofer be all frequencies under the 4,000 Hz. What this do is not allowing any frequencies under 4kHz pass to the tweeter as the smaller driver cannot handle it. In a 2-way be 1 cutoff like that. In a 3-way be 2 cutoffs. |

| Answer: | Yes, but don't expect for a sub to blow you away or anything with this set-up, as lowering frequencies require increasing power. Also, there is a pretty wide band of frequencies on the woofer output that are directional, meaning you can hear where they're coming from. That isn't always a desirable trait from a sub. Plus, you'll likely cancel some frequencies with a pair of subs in a stereo configuration, not to mention being limited in placement options. There's a reason a single well-placed sub is the standard. Now that I think of it though, you could run a pair of two-way speakers from the T&M, and run wire from W to a satellite sub box with two subs or a dual-coil sub. If I were to do that though, I'd change a few components and drop the W cutoff somewhat. |

On the schematic, just before both LC circuits, on the input, there is an inline 2.2 ohm resister on the mid channel and a 1.2 ohm resister inline for the high channel. I haven't hooked them up yet, but they are made very well. Solid PC boards and components. The filters are Woofer: 12 db, mid 6 db and high 12 db. Crossover points: 850 and 4800 hz. |
