As soon as HDMI association have certification program for the HDMI 2.1, we will apply it in the first time. But we haven't heard from them about any plan of that currently. You need to enable all HDMI 2.0 features in your TV settings by yourselves, such brand as TCL, Sony, Sharp, etc. These TV could have all the features of HDMI 2.0 after enabled in setting and also could watch 4K 60hz (HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDCP2.2). The HDCP 2.2 is not defaulted, be sure to go into settings and change it, please refer to the first Top rated review. Sony and sharp TV, find and switch to "Enhanced HDMI" in the TV settings menu. But 4K 60Hz 4:2:2 HDR10 (10bit color depth) needs 17.82Gbps bandwidth. And 4K 60Hz 4:2:2 Dolby Vision (12bit color depth) needs 20% more bandwidth, which would be 21.39Gbps. Your ROKU is probably using WiFi for an internet connection and the output from the ROKU would go in the TV HDMI port #2 also using a similar HDMI wire. The TV probably is also capable of a WiFi connection to your internet which will not need any wires. You use the remote control to switch between the different inputs on the TV: cable on HDMI#1, ROKU on HDMI #2, internet, DVD. While I could configure it to output 4K @ 120Hz with 4:4:4 Chroma, it would get occasional flashes and handshake issues with the 16.5' cables. Switched to a different cable, resolving the issue. It's possible the specific cable I got had a small defect.
