Answer:	No, they do not have a zipper to connect to a jacket. Nor do they have belt loops for a belt so that a jacket with loops could connect to the pants. The top of the pants is a stretch material for waist expansion (Thanksgiving dinner expansion!).... Nice pants, thick material, well worth the cost.

Answer:	It's a tight fit, but once over the top buckle, they fit over my Motocross boots just fine. I wear Alpinestar tech 3's.

Answer:	I rode for two straight days in pouring rain and temps in the low 40s. I only wore a thin pair of running tights underneath them and I was fine. My bike is a Honda ST1300 which has a great fairing and rider protection. You should be fine in the 40's for one hour. I was totally happy with mine. Rode from Canada to Southern California.
