Answer:	I don’t see how it can work through a switch. A switch shares data between all the devices connected to the switch. Plus a switch is not like a mux where you have two mixes and what goes in one port on one mux, comes out the other mux on the same port. Switches are more like a hub or a splitter.

Answer:	Honestly not sure, I do know that as for video it's missing pixels and very low quality I'd personally look for something different if I were going to try this again

Answer:	Not sure what you mean by electronics. Those cables you have, have only copper for non video inside and Fibre optic for the video. Great cables and you should be able to leave them hooked up 24/7/365 as I do with mine. I also ran mine down the inside of the wall.
