Answer:	To tell you the truth I was not aware of a TRS plug until your question arose, I just needed an adapter for my 1/8 inch cable plug to accomodate the 1/4 inch input on my guitar amp for my mp3 player. After googling a pic with an explanation of tip, ring & sleeve it appears to be a TRS plug. Incidentally it works fine, the balance good and it weeds out any unwanted noise. I also use a similar adapter for my Pimentel Acoustic guitar because the adapter hole for the electronics on my guitar is 1/8 inch

Question:	Are these cables active or passive
Answer:	from my understanding of the term they are passive ... although I don't know specifically whether any power is drawn through the HDMI cables or not but there is no additional power and I have been using it across a 20 ft room with no problem (other than the awkward setup in my house and using a new blu-ray and the new program coming with it.

Answer:	I bought 50 feet (15.24 meters) and I'm using it between my laptop and Samsung TV that has 1080p. I don't have 4K TV and I haven't tried it, but this HDMI cable is unusually thick, very thick and although I'm using this cable with about 10 meters apart between laptop and TV but the picture is so clear and there is no lagging or image interference, so, I guess it should do the job, but please don't quote me on that. let someone else who have tried it answer this important question more correctly.

Answer:	no they are definitely six inches. I bought the pack of one foot ones. I can't imagine if 6-inch is long enough for anything that i would be able to use ten of them, but it's $21 and you definitely aren't getting ten long cables for that price. Answer:	Yes you should be able too. I have an old song stereo receiver and I can plug that in and have surround sound, but you would have to have it as a multichannel. Since it’s just a single headphone jack

Answer:	just as long as your speakers are powered or you might have to use a amp,, normally outputs from sources like tv will not have the power to run speakers,,,standard outputs from rca or a headphone jack will need to connect to a reciever or amp and you would connect your speakers to the amp/reciever,,ie AVR etc etc, self powered speakers will be fine for a direct connection but in general a receiver will offer better options and more devices can be added .
