Answer:	Not sure what the other person experiencing or is talking about with "vintage" speakers.? But these are the exact same size as the individual separate spade ends you'll buy to make your own wires. I know as I have 2 different brands of spade connectors for making my own, but I bought these instead of making 2 more new wires. (I wanted to differentiate 2 sets of connections without labels, and was also short on wire, so these being of proper length and a different style and color from my current sets would be OK at this price). Saved some time and effort. Anyway, they are the exact same size as both other brands as fast as thickness and spade opening gap, and they fit my Klipsch Flootstanding AND Bookshelves (RP-160M and R-51M) perfectly. If you have normal modern/contemporary (?) speakers they'll fit My concern from the picture was the quality of the spade and the wire diameter, but I'm happy to say add in holding it now it's a very solid spade and the wire is 12GA. Hope that's a more useful answer.
