User questions & answers
Question: | I need to connect my samsung blu ray to my surround sound system, blue ray has coaxial jack, surround has RCA jacks, will this work |
Answer: | Yes. You don't necessarily need to use both sub inputs (can use a mono cable), but you will gain some sensitivity (a little more output from the sub, and can help with some sub's auto turn on feature) by hooking one end up to your receiver or prepro's sub output and the other ends to your left and right sub inputs. |
Question: | Can it connect a klh subwoofer to a pioneer receiver |
Answer: | Only connect receiver to line in on sub! |
Question: | Can I connect left and right input from subwoofer to subwoofer output on amp |
Answer: | The full length of the cable if 16ft. exact... |
Question: | Can use this cable to connect a new receiver with an older subwoofer that has line in and out rca connections? my receiver only have the subwoofer out |
Answer: | You have to be more speciific Cant understand rg59. Ect |
Question: | what is the length of this subwoofer cable |
Answer: | No real big difference, but, the subwoofer cable was designed for that purpose. You can try a experiment, and plug in each one, and see if there is any discernible difference in sound quality. Considering what I pay for a subwoofer, I will get the cable best suited for it! Google it, then decide for yourself! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can use this rca por video signal |
Answer: | My understanding, after doing research, is that the length of the cable doesn't matter, within reason. The company I bought my subwoofer from (it's a great addition to my system) suggested a 25 ' cable, allowing me to experiment with placement. |
Question: | Is this subwoofer cable directional??? Meaning does the signal need to go in one direction? Monster cables have a arrow on their cable |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | is the length of the cable made some delay or distortion from the subwoofer? Since I dont know the position of the sub yet, Should I buy longer cable |
Answer: | Yes it will work Audio Wise, but not Video if there's a Video out on the Blu-ray player you can hook that up to your AV RECEIVER i'm assuming that by Surround Sound System u mean your AV RECEIVER, but if the Blu-ray player has a HDMI Jack on it using this type of connection is far better Audio as well as Video, and you will have less Cable Clutter. HDMI CABLES are more costly, but then what price do you put on the ( Quality ) of the Sound and Video of your Surround Sound System? 🤔🤔😎 |
Question: | I have a poke sub and have two connection will this work or do I need y |
Answer: | Of course, klh subs have RCA inputs and all Pioneer AVRs have sub out RCA type connections. Dual end goes to each RCA in sub, you'll gain 6-4 dB depending on sub model |

User questions & answers
Question: | will they fit jbl l75 minuet speaker push-pin connectors? what is the insert tip diameter |
Answer: | The braided tip is held together at the end by a bit of solder, so clipping it could damage the wires and cause them to unravel. The wire is secured by a pair of set screws. |
Question: | Is there any insulation over the entire metal part of the outside of this pin |
Answer: | 16 AWG no problem. My preferred speaker wire is 12AWG. Much thicker than 16. Never a problem. What you may encounter is the 16 is too thin for the screws to grab securely. Also, despite the other ‘expert’ comments, you do not need to put any tape or insulation on the outside. The ferrules are insulated and non conductive As long as there’s no bare wire sticking out and the spring clips grab the braided ends there’s little chance of a short. |
Question: | How do I secure them inside the clip? Can I cut the pin so it's shorter more secure |
Answer: | Hi Cliente de Amazon!Yes, this cable can be used for composite video signal. Thanks,Mediabridge Customer [email protected] |
Question: | Do these work with 16 guage speaker wire? Also should I wrap one plug in electrical tape since thereceiver slots are close togeather |
Answer: | The arrow on the monster cable sounds like a marketing gimmick. As a EE I can't fathom any reason for low frequency signals to be unidirectional in a cable such as this. So, no worries, use the cable in either direction. |

User questions & answers
Question: | what is the packaged dimensions |
Answer: | Copper clad steel, which is a cheap and low quality design. Solid copper would cost a few cents more and would be much better. |
Question: | Will this work for a 5.1 ss system? have a powered sub-woofer with speaker cable to two satellite speakers. broken pin in one, no sound |
Answer: | If it's a regular wire/hdmi cable, 25 meters. If it's a powered cable, it can go over 100 meters without any degrade. |
Question: | Cca or pure copper |
Answer: | I cant tell you diameter but the pin is between 3/16 inch and 1/8 inch. just shy of 1/8 inch thickness. Hope this was helpful. |
Question: | A stupid question: how long will I need to be a sub-woofer cable before it loses signal |
Answer: | There are two major parts to each pin. There is the gold plated core with two set screws that clamp the speaker wire, and a screw on color coded aluminum barrel that protects the core from coming in contact with another pin. There is no "insulation" on the pin wire lead or core. The aluminum barrel is the only thing outside the gold core. Aluminum is a conductor though, so I would try and keep the plugs apart. I have never "tested" if they will short if they come in contact with each other. These are very easy to use and a great option if your equipment only accepts some kind of a wire lead. |
