If you fully extend them horizontally, have to add 2 x 38 1/2" plus the distance across to base of 3 1/2" for a distance of 80 1/2".Mhz does not apply, but knowing they rate frequency by the channel pickup of channels 2-13 should give you an idea of the range.

Answer:	I am not sure - I live in a big city and though my apartment is on a lower floor, I have not had any trouble getting reception. In fact, the picture is very clear, and I get many channels! It may not depend so much on being near a city as being near a tower that transmits signals. You should check to see which is the nearest tower.
Question:	Will i get a 58 miles away signal
Answer:	To know what stations you can get and what kind of antenna you need to get them, put in your address in antennaweb.org. That site will give you a color coded list of available stations for your address, how far away each tower is, degrees from center. When you click on each station, there will be a popup telling you what kind of antenna you'd need to get that station. 58 miles away is pretty far. It would be my guess you'd need an outside antenna for that distance. But it also depends on terrain between you and the towers, where your tv is in your house, if there's a window nearby, direction your tv room faces, the strength of the signal from each tower, and other factors. It's a system where you have to just try different things to see what works for your conditions. I use indoor antennas. I prefer NONamplified ones plugged into separate ampts, so I can remove the amp if I want. I get a lot of stations; all of my towers are less than 25 miles away. My tv room faces the direction of where the towers are, and there's a window 3 feet from my tv. I'm lucky. Urban settings are more likely to be that way.

Question:	do i have to have converter boxes on each tv
Answer:	You do not need a converter box at all. We do not use one and have no problem getting several channels. My parents who live nearby have the same antenna. They use a converter box and get the same channels. It is your preference to use or not use a converter box.
Question:	do I need any additional parts to hook up model ANT338XR antenna
Answer:	I only know if you are mounting it in the attic (that is where mine is and it works great) you might need some supports to mount it on. Other than that, I believe everything needed is included. Keep in mind my son in law installed mine, so if other parts were needed I am not aware of it. By the way, I absolutely am thrilled with the reception that I get with the antenna and am doubly thrilled that I got to fire Comcast!
Question:	what roof mount and or attic mount do you use for this antenna
Answer:	This is a very large antenna..I used a one and a quarter inch pipe and mounted it to the wall We live on the coast with high winds at times.Works well
Question:	Does the bigger elements on this antenna reach out farther than other antennas
Answer:	The bigger elements improve reception on the lower RF-channels (VHF-lo). and don't improve the upper channels (UHF/VHF-hi).

Answer:	Yes it has an F connector on the side that more then likely excepts cable input! If you read my review my only fault with this TV was the location and "Fit" of the F connector itself! I had to carve out the plastic body around the tv's F connector to even hook up my powered ant. That hooks up by a male F connector! This might have been a bad placement on my unit only , plus I was pluging& unplugging my F plug often per day. Yours may be just fine. Picture & DVD are great good luck

Question:	I want to move it closer to the window. But need an extension cord. What do I need to look for in terms of keywords
Answer:	Type in "coax cable" in amazon. One of the first things will be an "extension adapter" this allows you to connect the antenna to another cable. Then you just buy a coax cable of whatever length you need.
Question:	do the ears extend or are they a fixed length
Answer:	Most but not all modern digital channels broadcast on the UHF TV band. You don't have to extend them at all for UHF frequencies. Reception on UHF is actually better if the antenna rods are kept short. Most of the UHF signal will go through the UHF loop anyway, & the rods will mostly just be reflecting some the the UHF signal back to the loop. In my area though, channel 67 & it's sub-channels of great old movies & TV shows actually broadcasts on the old VHF channel 7. So a set of rabbit ears pick it up best, with the rods extended about only 15 inches in a "V" shape. For VHF channels lower than 7, you'll have to extend them almost all the way. But almost no channels broadcast below VHF channel 7 frequencies anymore, because that range it being used for non-TV communications now. You can't really go by the channel number anymore. Our channel 7 actually broadcasts on UHF channel 17, & our channel 17 actually broadcasts on channel 39. You actually have to look up the channel to know if it's on UHF or VHF.
Question:	does it work with the digital signal converter box
Answer:	Yes, it works very well with a digital signal converter box. I bought this antenna to use with my converter box. Since I've upgraded my televisions, I don't need the converter box any longer, however, I kept the antenna to plug into my television and it works great.
Question:	How long is the cable & is it detachable
Answer:	The cable for the RCA ANT121F is 6 ft. long and is not detachable.
