Answer:	The model 5812 (Yagi) and 5818 can't receive radio FM，the rest of the models can.

Answer:	You should go to a thrift store such as Goodwill and purchase a used camera tripod to mount it on. You may have to use a spacer between the tripod tube and the antenna grip. But it doesn’t have to mount to anything. You could lay it on top of some tall furniture. Or hang it on top of curtain rods. Regards.

You may kindly visit FCC website to check the signal strength and the distance to your nearby DTV stations to determine whether you need an amplified hdtv antenn or just a non-amplified one like Chaowei DVB66, DTA66 can work perfectly for you. Pls kindly note DVB66 and DTA66 doesn't include the amplifier, if the signals are weak or you are more than 40 miles away most of broadcast towers, suggest you add an amplifier to help receive those local channels.
Question:	What is difference between this dta66 and the dvb66 except this has white stripes and dvb66 has red stripes

DTA66 has bigger magnetic base than DVB66, theoretically speaking, the magnet will be stronger and more helpful in reception improvement when you put it on a large iron sheet or something metal; secondly the material of the magnetic base for DTA66 is different from DVB66 which we tried to design one which can reduce the impaction of intereference around your house, so that can improve the reception in an area where the signals are weak. But it seems both of works perfect within 40miles even more according to customers feedback and comments. However, both of are omni-directional antenna which is different from most of square leaf antenna which have to face to the broadcast tower for signals transmitting. We think that is the main reason that customers prefer this kind of antenna.

Operation:

1.Connect the antenna cable to the left F Female and the battery pack cable to the right F Female. Remove any external amplifier* that may be connected to the antenna.

2.Adjust the antenna to the best position by watching the meter's reading. Higher up the scale gives a better signal. If the finder's reading becomes full scale, adjust the level control knob to reduce the reading to around 5 (Turning the knob clockwise will decrease the reading), continue to move the antenna until you have the highest possible meter reading.

3.Remove the finder and replace any amplifier that was disconnected.

Answer:	The meter should be connected to the coax cable before any amplifier. Since it is used to position the antenna for the best signal, it should be located relatively close to the antenna during installation and then removed. Note that the meter registers total signal only - there is no way to tell if you are getting a good signal from any particular channel.
