Question:	what type of batterie does this take
Answer:	Yes -- that's precisely what I'm using this particular dimmer for -- to dim LED light bulbs that are designated as "dimmable." And, yes, it does indeed dim them quite successfully . . . with one rather minor word of caution. The dimmable LED bulbs -- although they will indeed dim -- do have a slightly annoying habit of turning themselves completely off and going dark, if you dim them below a certain minimum level of brightness. So, yes, you can dim them slightly -- say maybe by 50 percent. But if you dim them below that level, you're likely to discover that they've turned themselves off after 12 hours or so and gone dark . . . at which point you have to turn them back on by going back to full brightness . . . and then re-dim them all over again. But if you just want to dim them slightly . . . maybe by 50% . . . then these dimmers work great. The problem is not limited to just this particular model of dimmer. It's true of ALL dimmers when used with LED bulbs.

Answer:	Sorry. It is indeed rather pricey for just one dimmer. But that's what it is -- just one dimmer. NOT a 10-pack. Nice try.

Answer:	We bought this dimmer for use on an older fixture with a slightly bigger cord and, with a little extra effort, it worked our fine.

Answer:	No it cannot be used outside in a stand alone application. You may be able to mount in a weatherproof enclosure, however you will need to check with your local electrical codes to determine if that would be allowed.

The description says the alarm function has been disabled. Is this true

Answer:

Not sure what you mean when you say "in the cord before the LED driver." But I do use this dimmer in the cord that feeds a 120v LED table lamp bulb. It works fine, as long as the package on the LED bulb says that the bulb is "dimmable." Check the package for that stipulation. I use it mainly on an LED bulb which is made to resemble the old vintage Edison decorative bulbs. It works fine as long as I adjust it just for medium brightness. But when I adjust it for absolute minimum brightness, it works fine until I shut the power off (i.e. until I turn the lamp completely off) . . . after which the bulb often won't turn on again until I momentarily readjust it to maximum brightness again . . . after which I can turn it low again. That's not a big problem, but it can be a very minor annoyance.

Question:	will this work for a Bose FM radio
Answer:	This antenna is a replacement part for devices that originally come with built-in telescoping antennas. The Bose Wave radio (I think this is the one you mean) doesn't have this kind of built-in antenna -- its FM antenna is in the power cord. So, I don't believe this antenna would work with a Bose Wave radio. You can attach an external FM antenna, but a different kind. The radio manual suggests contacting Bose Customer Service for one. Searching here on Amazon for "fm antenna for bose wave radio" will turn up more appropriate choices.
Question:	Does this antenna rotate as well as swivel
Answer:	The antenna can extend out three sections and will rotate 360° in all directions, from horizontal to full vertical. The antenna functions the same as the original OEM version, although the collapsed length is a little longer the one it replaced on my stereo.

Answer:	I can't answer for sony - but they did not come close to fitting my Sangean - and ended up in the recycle bin. They are generic junk - cheapest crap you can find - i'd try to order from sony or a sony dealer

Answer:	The antenna did not come with a screw or other fastener. For the radio I used it on there was a screw in place holding the original that was broken. If the mount is a thru-hole you could use a brass nut and bolt 3/32 diameter, length wouldn't matter as it could be snipped off. If the mount is already threaded you'll have to find something that fits, or perhaps check with the manufacturer for correct size. Web searches usually have the answer you're looking for.

Answer:	It didn't work very effectively for me. I used it with a Rotel receiver, which has a ground and a signal connection. Tried the antenna both ways but got no reception the first time, and basic reception the second time. Overall I am not happy with the antenna. It's cheap, though, and maybe worth a try. Who knows, perhaps it will work with your equipment.

Question:	Is the din male plug similar to an male rca plug
Answer:	No, DIN male and PAL plugs are different. This product includes F Male, PAL Male , PAL Female and 3.5mm Male. There is no DIN plug.
Question:	Can I use this to get radio on my smart phone using the 3.5mm jack
Answer:	No, you can't get regular am/fm radio from this. Most smartphones have deactivated the normal am/fm radio function. Most phones are actually capable of getting at least FM but the manufacturers and carriers get money from digital/streaming services.
Question:	What does non-universal mean and is it returnable
Answer:	No. it means without adapter, it can only used for the F type antenna socket. Thanks a lot for your question, we will change it to without adapter or with adapter, it is really confusing

Answer:	No. You did nothing wrong. I think the reason it can't stay upright because the screw is loose. There is a screw on the junction part. You can tighten a little then it will not flop over.

Answer:	I suppose you could if you separated the core and ground. I once made a draw bar for an airplane out of an old bed frame. It worked too.
Question:	how big is this antenna? I live in appartments upstairs will it look too big to put outside my balcony
Answer:	Amazon lists the size as "Product Dimensions 19.1 x 8.5 x 3.4 inches". However that should more correctly read "Box Dimensions" as Amazon is more concerned with shipping size than product. The assembled antenna is just below 19 inches in diameter and a bit under 4 inches in height. (I didn't climb up on the roof for an exact measurement). As to how it will appear outside your balcony, you'll have to judge that yourself.
Question:	Below a Jonathan claims that his antenna came with 2 of the same sections? and a fitment problem? Are they all the same size the sections? Anyone else
Answer:	You get two curved sections that are screwed to one end of the cross member near the coax connection. The identical sections look as if they aren't curved enough to snap into the opposite end of the member, but a bit of gentle pressure will bring them in so that they snap into the connector. I assembled it without looking at the instructions, and I'm a girl.
Question:	I have a metal garage with florescent lighting. When the lights are on all I get is buzz. Will this antenna cure my reception problem? If mounted outside will this work
Answer:	The omni-directional antenna mounted out side of any steel building will definitely improve your reception. As stated by Tim Calhoun you must use a shielded coaxial cable and the cable shielding must be grounded, may i suggest you check the grounding on the the light fixtures. Also the light fixtures may be an older style with magnetic ballasts if so it may help to replace the magnetic ballasts with newer electronic ballasts.
