Question:	How does the radio mount the single din radio
Answer:	There's a metal sleeve on your radio (Boss) or other brand that slides into the housing unit. There are tabs that fit a variety of different housing units that you bend down/inward to secure the sleeve with the housing. Don't bend the tabs down until you are certain the head unit will fit with all the wire connections behind (but it should as the housing is really deep). Once you do that, arrange your wiring, connections, soldering points etc and hook it up. Slide the head unit in and once it clicks in place, you're good to go. FYI, it's a pain to 'un-do' the bended tabs should you decide not to use the housing unit with the sleeve. Preplan for a better install.

Answer:	um, its a housing. . . so no output
Question:	can i use this for vhf radio
Answer:	No You can not, Your mic will not fit in compartment, I do no recommend it anyway, I had a radio in mine it does not keep water out. Radio was shot after 6 months cause of the water seepage.
Question:	I intend to use this for a Kenwood marine radio. How does it stay in place on the side of the panel, with screws or adhesive or nothing at all
Answer:	I just put 2 screws in to hold it on my motorcycle fairing and had no problems.

Answer:	No, it does not. You can add 3 AA batteries to the unit but that is it. Great phone however been using it for years with my headset in the home office.

Answer:	i just tried it. the person using the Panasonic will hear a short beep in the earpiece, however, the person at other end of call hears nothing when mute function enabled. also no sound when mute disabled.

Answer:	Although my husband and I did not personally mount this phone on the wall, there was included in the packing the brackets to mount it on the wall. My husband is the primary user of this unit, he prefers to hold it in his hands and be able to fully feel the raised numbering and the braille. Question:	Can i splice another wire to make longer? Do you think that improves the signal
Answer:	NO. Out of Area just by itself is blocked. However, if you need all Out of Area calls to ring through then use the override command of Code 76. Callers from all area codes will ring through like normal because they will have person's real names and numbers, not Out of Area. Additionally, if they do, then you can use the Invite button to override that blocked number even from Out of Area.
Question:	how long is the cable that connects the antenna to the head unit? to put this on my motorcycle the cable needs to be at least 60" long
Answer:	You can enable Code 46 to start deleting really old numbers from the beginning of the block list. The automatic memory management will prevent you from running into Full issues again. Once you enable this method you can start blocking numbers again. Any numbers that continue to be harassing repeaters can just be entered into the non auto delete list with Code 40 [Number] * key which will never be deleted by Code 46.
Question:	How does this mount to the roof of a motorhome? Thanks, Frank
Answer:	The ProSeries II will store 800 numbers, area codes, wildcard strings or any combination of these and auto delete older numbers on a continuous basis in Virtual Memory. However, if you manually code the numbers in with code 40, these entries will not be included in the auto delete function and remain stored. From our past customers' experience, it was noted that they had not yet 'filled' the blocked number storage in over 5 years. So 800 number allotment is more than enough to satisfy your yearly storage, particularly with the preloaded millions of known out of area and other numbers already blocked.
