On mine I added a rubber tip made for canes and whatnot so mine measures just about 35 1/2 inches.Its one of the best canes I own.Comfortable for all day use. Get a wrist strap for it too.They come in handy. I would buy more of these with different style handles if they made them.I think you will be happy with this. IF its too long for you,cut a biyt off and go with the rubber tip like I did.You can make it as short as you like that way. |

| Answer: | I don't think it is a pound, almost as heavy as reg. cane. Too use as walking aid, the cobra head must be placed in the palm facing backwards. Canes and top hats had were in fashion many years ago. It not a good cane for defense because the bottom part is made of wood and will break. It is for my collection only. |
