Answer:	I didn't have any trouble getting my pant legs over them, but I was wearing boot cut jeans and hiking pants with adjustable openings. It might look a bit more apparent that you have boots on if you have straight leg jeans. They came up to the bottom of my calf.

Answer:	Per the drop down box on the sizing it shows 11 Little kid would be the next size after 10 toddle. My daughter is 10 y/o and wears a 5 Big Kid. I originally orderd a 4 Big Kid. She tried it on and it was snug across the toes. I exchanged for next size up and she has plenty of room. She can even get a thick pair of socks in them. I don't think she will need a thick parin. She says she is warm, and they are comfortable. For a molded boot they are light and not to cumbrsum for her to walk in when out shopping.
