Answer:	Hi Andrea,If swelling of the ankles is a problem, you might want to give these a pass. The entire sock fits snugly. I don't find that the top is any tighter than the rest of the sock; the whole sock, however, is snug. My husband, found them a bit too close-fitting for his comfort. Hope this info is useful to you. Answer:	Actually...I don't agree. Wool has a special quality--it is breathable. If you are going to Norway in winter and your guide advised you to gear up with all wool clothing, I would take heed. I highly recommend that you do so. I have spent winters working in Antarctica and the program issues wool socks to employees because wool cannot be beat for performance in cold/wet conditions. Not only does wool breathe, if it gets wet it continues to keep you warm. So, if you sweat you won't get cold. With any other fabric that is not the case. Nothing can replace a good pair of wool socks. And Darn Tough socks are top-of-the-line wool socks. I highly recommend you get a pair (or five!) before you go to Norway for the winter. Answer:	I have these and wore them all winter; they quickly became my favorite boots (so much that I bought them in both colors). They do well on snow/ice - they have a good sole that provides great traction. I first found these on Teva's site, where it states: "These have a full-grain waterproof leather upper. The PU Sockliner (or insole) is the foam padded mesh that your foot stands on." Last winter was my first season with them - they kept my feet warm & dry and still look great!

Answer:	For Blundstone, a 10.5 would equate to a 10 wide. The half size typically just adds width. They do not have a 10.5E. I would recommend going to a dealer and trying on an 11.5 (11 wide)

Answer:	Honestly, have not worn them around too much cause I bought them as summer started to kick in full with temperatures in the 90's. With that said, I just looked at them again and the treading is thick and durable. I believe they will probably work like any other heavy soled well constructed boot. I do like them and they are comfortable on my feet when I have worn them. In fact I ended up buying the same pair in black with red trim. Not sure if this helped but hopefully it did...

Answer:	Blundstone uses AU Australian sizes. I am a 13.5 but the AU 12 fits me perfectly.
